## What is Dayzen?

Dayzen is a different kind of day planner. Tell it about the jobs you need to get done, and the things you do for fun, and every day it will build a schedule that keeps your day in balance: as energising as possible, with the draining tasks at a pace you can handle.

Dayzen learns how to better schedule your day over time, by learning which times work for you or not.

### 1.10.0 — 2023-08-20

Thanks for using Dayzen. There are several new features and improvements in this version!

New: Filters for the My Tasks view, including only showing energising or draining tasks, tasks scheduled for that day, or tasks that are scheduled at a fixed time.
New: "Automatically reschedule tasks when I'm drained" setting will allow Dayzen to automatically change your schedule to get you back on track if you're more drained than expected.
New: Tap a task in the timeline to pop up a view for editing that task.

Changed: Scheduler now adapts the duration of tasks in future once "finished early".

Fixed: Changing a task to no longer be recurring would not be saved.
Fixed: No longer receive notifications about tasks that you've "finished early".

### 1.9.0 — 2023-08-13

Thanks for using Dayzen. There are several new features and improvements in this version!

New: If you want Dayzen to offer alternatives for several tasks in your timeline, use Reschedule Groups. Long press any task to start creating a reschedule group. Long press to add additional tasks, highlighted in red. When you tap the reschedule button, all selected tasks will be rescheduled, freeing up larger blocks of time for alternatives.
New: Search for tasks by name from the My Tasks view
New: Added an option to sort My Tasks by name

Improved: When using "finished this task", Dayzen can now adjust the rest of your day based on how energised you're currently feeling.

Fixed: Prevents tasks from being saved unless a name is entered

### 1.8.0 — 2023-08-03

New: Tap "Finished this task" if you've finished something faster than you expected. Dayzen will schedule something appropriate based on how long is left until your next task begins, and learns more about how to schedule that task in future.

Fix: If a task scheduled for later in your day has been marked as completed, it will now be replaced with an alternative appropriate task.

### 1.7.0 — 2023-07-27

New: Redesigned "My tasks" view, with clearer layout, and the ability to sort tasks by when you added them, how long they are, or how energising they are.
New: Optionally receive a notification every morning when your schedule is ready.
New: Very long and very draining tasks might be difficult for Dayzen to schedule (because it'll think you're always too tired to do them!) You'll now get a warning if you create a task like this.
Changed: Improvements to how check-in responses affect how tasks are scheduled.
Fix: Day plan view was not scrolling to your current task.
Fix: Tapping a notification about the start of a task shouldn't ask you to check-in.

- New: Enable/disable notifications at start of each task from settings menu
- New: Optionally start with a set of example tasks populating your tasks list
