## What is dB Calculator?

The dBCalculator software comprises five independent calculation tools:

dBm Calculator:
This tools helps to add and subtract an arbitrary number of power levels expressed in units of dBm and watt.

Voltage Calculator:
This tools helps to add and subtract correlated and uncorrelated voltage levels.

Unit Converter:
This tool calculates for an entry using a unit such as dBm, dBW, mW, W, mV, V, dBV, dBµV and dBu the corresponding values for all other units, for individual impedance values.

dB Converter:
This tool converts linear power and voltage ratios to dB and vice versa.

VSWR Converter:
This tool converts reflection quantities such as Voltage Standing Wave Ratio VSWR, reflection coefficient, reflected power, return loss and mismatch loss.

PLEASE NOTE: Calculations based on correlated vs uncorrelated levels yield very different results. If you see an unexpected result, please verify the uncorrelated/correlated setting of this app first!

I was looking for a unit converter, and stumbled on to this awesome app.  Are you wondering what your equivalent wattage would be with your 1000 W +7.5 dB?  Type it in exactly that way, and done!  

It’s truly an awesome app that will save you loads of time.

Overall the interface is not very user friendly for such a simple app and the unit Convertor does not calculate properly from dBm to Watts.

The dB micro volt calculations are incorrect on this app. Everything else seems fine but it doesn't matter which you select, it alway converts to dBV.  This should be an easy fix R&S.

Beautiful interface but does not function correctly, which makes it not worth the effort.  
If it actually worked it would be five stars.

This is exactly the calculator I was looking for. However I believe there's a bug in the unit converter, you can't change the buttons for other units than the defaults. At least it acts that way. Even so, the defaults are handy in the meantime. Beautifully thought out feature set. Thanks!
