Mit der BDE Mobil App können Produktivzeiten für Personal und Maschinen- sowie Fahrzeugstunden erfasst werden. Im Rahmen von zugehörigen Aufträgen werden der Bearbeitungsstatus erfasst und für die Abrechnung relevante Aufgaben dokumentiert. Neben der Erfassung der Produktivzeiten können auch alle lohnrelevanten Daten wie Arbeitszeiten, Fehlzeiten, Zulagen und Zuschläge erfasst werden. Der Datenaustausch erfolgt über iTunes, per E-Mail oder per Webservice.

Für den Zugriff auf Kartendaten, wie OpenStreetMap kommuniziert die BDE Mobil App über den normalen Http-Port.
