Onboarding has been a serious pain I’ve been trying to get it done for over an hour….. I’ve managed to get everything done except 1 thing I needed my PC available as well as my phone to do the 2FA and KYC…… but I finished that but the thing that should be the easiest is being the biggest pain of all….. first deposit…. Which I don’t understand why this is needed for the onboarding process I have bought physical packs and I just want to scan them in but I didn’t want to do it until the onboarding process is done but over an hour later I still haven’t got the add funds to load up it just buffers over and over and over….. this shouldn’t even be apart of the onboarding process to begin with but nonetheless I’m gunna keep trying to get it done but geez what a pain it’s been so far to even get everything set up to get started smh

It is a pretty miserable user experience so far. Essentially nothing works without finishing the onboarding steps and there’s nothing clickable to actually engage with the onboarding tasks. Lots of links pointing you to discord and support of which provide little to no help.

First I was unable to create an account by using my email, I filled everything out, there were checkmarks indicating the values were ok, but when I would try to complete registration I got repeated generic error messages.  Closed out the app tried again, same thing. In the end I had to sign in with my apple account which I don’t like to do.
After spending 15 minutes trying to register, I can access the app.  I scan my cards, try to use other features and I can’t because according to the message I need to “complete onboarding”.  I have no idea what that means, and there is no obvious “onboarding” option so I give up.  Wont be buying anymore cards either, I feel like I just blew $6.

The cards are cool and all but the app!!!! I bought 8pack and was excited for the app aspect of it, only for consistent crashes 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄 over… will most likely keep collecting cause i love DC but like i said… app is garbage.

Thanks for the free Wonder Woman cards. Too bad the garbage app freezes every time I try to open them. Had nothing but issues with this app since day 1, and it keeps getting worse. Haven’t you made enough money from us buying these packs to hire a developer?

### 1/5 — Greedy developers don’t care about secondary market

This project started off great, but quickly went downhill.  season 1 was worth buying and hard to get(good thing) the product was limited and the secondary market had great returns, since then the team releases a digital only set once per month, which they have increased the mint count on every drop, they are greedy and don’t care about the people buying the product. The packs cost 100$ and the cards you open are usually worth 3$-10$ max.. they mint more and more packs each drop. For example season 2 hybrid just dropped and they printed 12.5 MILLION cards.. this is 250% more than chapter 1. Ch1 sold out quickly, chapter 2 has virtually zero demand. The project is dying quickly and everyone is losing interest cause the secondary market prices are zero, because the greedy team prints way too many cards.  The most recent “Halloween” set was by far the worst, they hid the packs remaining count and lengthened the sale period to 1 month, which locks everyone’s packs for that entire time, you can’t even re sell them at a loss if you wanted to. By the time the sale is over(cause it won’t sell out(cause they minted way too many cards)) you won’t have any buyers for the packs and you’ll be stuck with 100$ packs that are worthless. Stay away from this project, it’s being run into the dirt by greedy developers. Greed has destroyed this project.

I love the goal of Hro in this app. However, there are no tutorials at all. Nothing. The app is arranged poorly, making the most basic actions rely on blind faith. I’d love to see this down right. Hro needs to look at the digital card apps with several years of success. And take a page from them.

My money has been locked in this app for months with zero help or urgency to fix it. HRO is great at depositing money into your account — that happens lightning quick. But when you try to withdrawal YOUR MONEY, suddenly there’s issues that need months to be resolved.  My money has been locked in HRO all summer and the dev team has no sense of urgency to help. Do not put your money into an app that takes 10x as long to withdraw your money as it does to deposit it. And for the dev team, my username is ledgerlounge, the guy who has been emailing weekly about my money that you’re holding against my will.

I tried. There’s an on-boarding quest line you must do before you can claim anything achievement wise. Ok fine. I downloaded and authenticater and enabled it I did all the little things. Then have to deposit funds to go further and enable something called KYC. I tried to enable it had to go to the website. Ok fine I do that well I enter all the info and it won’t let me confirm my identity. Also when clicking to deposit funds it just pin wheels forever. It’s like they don’t want you to use their app. Oh well seemed cool but requirements are undoable apparently.

So basically you have to jump through like 1,000 hoops to use it properly with ZERO help.

You have to download an authentication app (doesn’t specify which one and you have to pay for those apps), then when you do download an authentication app it does nothing. You have to get a code and then you input the code and password…nothing happens. Still haven’t figured that out.

Then if you somehow figure that out without any direction or help, then you have to somehow figure out the KYC which it gives you zero advice or leads on how to do that.

Also when you redeem a physical card it just vanishes somewhere, I literally looked everywhere in the app and can’t find the card I redeemed.

They screwed over everyone that preordered and supported them during the early stages of the project. Preorders didnt arrive until a month after the cards were already in stores. They never sent out the Pioneer cards and refuse to answer any support emails even after proof of preorder

The app is great i started collecting from the beginning. There definitely can be some improvements but overall great app. Nothing else like this on the market even if there was more apps like this it would just make HRO more successful. Just like most NFT apps and platforms started out great everything was profitable but not anymore. There is always a chance to get a great card but overall the market is currently not so great. When more members join it will be better.
Hopefully you guys can implement a better burn feature for rewards. We need to get every card over $1 value. We need lots of burns the highest minted card should only be about 5,000 mints.
Lets find a way to raise the floor and make the market place better for everyone. We need to burn 1 million cards to make this more successful for everyone. Good rewards needed for burning. Please bring burning events.

Awesome product, amazing platform. If you’re looking to dip your toes in digital collecting on the blockchain, this is a fantastic place to start. If you just want to collect physical cards, now you can sell the digital twin and recoup costs. Don’t deposit via app. Save $ w fees by depositing on website instead. The info and features more robust there too. Enjoy!
