The other app does not see a device that was direct connected with this one and it is impossible to ise because the wifi networks are not displayed. Another product sold at a premium price on the promise of smartphone connectivity which utterly fails to fulfill that promise. ### 1/5 — DConnect *2021-01-02, version 2.1.1* When i try log in the land o goshen in window freezes. Also doesnt show my product where it says “choose my product”. What good is this app? Viel Geld bezahlt, Pumpe nach ein Jahr schrott, kaput, undicht. Das reicht DAB immer noch nicht, die App ist zwar kostenlos, aber Pflicht-Abo dafür ist kostenpflichtig. ### 1/5 — what a con *2024-11-19, version 2.11.0* Paid a premium for a pump that had a catastrophic failure within 3 months. A big selling point was a free DAB Live! app to monitor pump usage (which never worked/rendered properly). I’ve only had the pump for 12 months and today discovered the updated “free” app is now a subscription and registered instance (pump) expired 299 days ago. Now to get the same information, including the failure notifications that sold me on getting the pump (presumably, but less historical data) I have to pay €20 per year. ### 1/5 — App crashes not usable *2024-05-09, version 2.10.0* The app has a new bug now that doesn’t allow you to control flow to the easy box mini . The pump came with app access which Enables you to remote access the data from the pump such as total of monthly water pumped or monthly power usage. Other than consumption it also shares other data with the user including how much water the pump is moving (litres/minute) and the pressure set values etc which may be helpful to some. The app also gives you access to put the pump into POWER SHOWER mode, which is used for Briefly increasing the pumps pressure in the event you need extra pressure for whatever reason. There is also access to the SLEEP MODE which somehow makes the pump even quieter than it normally is. I haven’t tried the sleep mode, mainly on the account that the pump is already so quiet that I struggle to hear it anyway…..not sure how much quieter something can get. I think the pump app has more functionality for people with multiple pumps but I only have one. Finally, I contacted the friendly team at DAB Pumps in Australia to enquire about something and found them to be helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and kind. I appreciate their assistance. ### 5/5 — Worked on my phone and was able to update several pumps to the new UI *2023-06-17, version 2.7.1* Worked on my phone; however, they have constantly prompt you to use the DConnect portal online instead of the application. I’m not sure the application is even necessary, except for the Bluetooth connectivity to configure it initially. Hard to see how you can get the pump connected to the Internet or updated without the use of this app on a phone or tablet with Bluetooth. DAB mini has built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi so it’s possible you could directly connect to the pump with it’s integrated Wi-Fi hotspot to configure it (and update it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and connect it to your buildings Wi-Fi. If you intend on using the cloud services provided you likely realize that this app is inferior in most ways, the web portal, as it turns out, the “ historical analysis” button inside the app opens up the DConnect portal webpage, it is much easier to view on the actual DConnect portal either on a smart phone or a computer. I’m not sure if direction section works with the online web portal likely does not, and never will. This is likely to Further incentivize, paying for a contract and cloud services through the company. Regardless, user error is usually the problem and getting the pump to connect to the app. Use a different device, or if the app fails to pull the installation configuration from the pump manually connect to the integrated hotspot, and then returned the app and try again. Hope this helps anyone who read this and bumps. They review back up from one star because of one user in the land of the Shire! ### 5/5 — Finalmente un sistema che funziona! *2018-03-14, version 1.0* Facile e intuitiva questa applicazione facilita il nostro lavoro. Controllo da remoto delle pompe con elettronica in tempo reale. Consigliata! ### 4/5 — Problem wurde gelöst, aber es dauerte *2024-11-25, version 2.12.0* Mit der App war alles prima, bis man auf „Firmware update“ klickt - dann begann ein update, das letztlich scheitert und die Pumpe stand still. DAB brauchte eine Woche, um zu reagieren, eine weitere Woche, um ein Ersatz-Bedienteil zu schicken und UPS eine weitere Woche, um es aus Italien nach Deutschland zu befördern. 3 Wochen ohne Wasser kann problematisch sein. Kleiner Tip: Vor Ort kann man per BT-Direkt-Verbindung nur ein update aufspielen, das könnte helfen. Einfach die Anleitung in der App befolgen. Hope the esybox pump is better than the software... ### 3/5 — Proposte di miglioramento *2023-07-28, version 2.7.2* L’installazione del d.connectbox 2 è semplice e intuitiva, tuttavia la app crasha allo step in cui viene richiesto di aggiornare il firmware. Inoltre il passaggio guidato suggerisce di collegarsi al Wi-Fi del connectbox qualora non venga rilevato Il Bluetooth, ma il Wi-Fi del connectbox non è rilevato dal iPhone tra le reti disponibili. Con un paio d’ore di pazienza e un po’ di scaltrezza sono riuscito ad evitare gli aggiornamenti e a configurare il tutto.
