## What is Dead or Alive??

Ever found yourself wondering "wait… are they still alive?" Dead or Alive? settles it in seconds — but first, take a guess!

Dead or Alive still does the one thing it's always done: type a name, find
out. New in this version, there's a game to go with it.

Pick a category — footballers, film stars, pop stars, boxers, cricket
legends, 80s icons and a dozen more — then call ten faces dead or alive,
ten seconds each. Answer faster, score higher.

Every category has its own Game Center leaderboard, so you can see how you
compare. Your personal best is saved on your device either way.

Also in this update:
• Photos are cropped around the face, so nobody loses their head
• Each round mixes people from the same era, so ages don't give it away
• Faces you've just seen won't come round again for a while

FEATURES
• Take a guess — tap DEAD or ALIVE before the answer is revealed, then see if you nailed it.
• Instant answer — a bold DEAD or ALIVE verdict at a glance.
• The details that matter — date of birth or death, and the age they reached.
• Cause of death in plain English — medical jargon is translated into everyday words.

HOW IT WORKS
Dead or Alive? draws its information from Wikipedia and Wikidata, the same free, community-maintained sources used across the web. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.

A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Information comes from public databases and is only as current as those sources. For the vast majority of well-known people it's spot on, but very obscure entries may be incomplete.
