Worth buying. However just a bit buggy. Some of the puzzles kept solving themselves when I was halfway through doing them, which was disappointing. ### 4/5 — Challenging *2016-11-10* It makes you use your brain, but unlike other games, if you follow clues and think about the situations, you can progress. Gives you a sense of accomplishment when you finish playing. The art is lovely, the HOP scenes varied. The "evidence" book was maybe a little unnecessary, since the game isn't asking you to actually figure out the murderer; it ended up being just something I had to keep clicking to make it stop flashing. I didn't experience any bugs at all playing in an iPad Air. Unable to move forward because the HINT says you must play the shimmering HO game!! A real bug..... I'm not buying any more, there's just far too many bugs. I'm playing on an iPad Air, 128gb, updated iOS. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2016-03-02, version 1.0.1* I bought this game at a buy it now price, when I downloaded again (not realising it was the game I had already purchased) I saw that I had already played the game so pressed already purchased to restore the game, there was no record of purchase, I also noted that the date of release has been updated. They don't make much sense. ### 2/5 — Updated yesterday? *2016-03-03* Really? It seems old. The trial game was over very quickly. The help screen was okay and needed for some poorly designed games such as the totem necklace. The top and bottom pieces don't match the pieces of the puzzle that supposedly attach to them! The other puzzle were just odd or boring. The hidden objects were either easy or impossible, and the little riddle was beyond stupid, making no sense. The detective kit was odd with unidentifiable items in it. If this game was updated today, it must have been REALLY bad before. Don't waste your money on this one. And, developers, back to work. All I can say is I have been playing these games for many years and this game is by far the best game I have ever played. I especially like the magnifying glass that allows you to spot action items. The puzzles were great and the story line was written well. So 5 stars for this game. The only problem I had was with the touch in hidden objects where it didn’t always work. I’m glad it was with real people and not monsters or medieval eras which are so childish.
