Love the magic slant to this murder mystery. I like all the Dead Reckoning games, they are what Eipix does best. Hops were list, silhouette, and interactive. Puzzles were creative, like the Qbert type stacking blocks one especially. I wish there were a few more puzzles. Cute magic bunny to collect in every scene. Rating of 4.5 lowered to 4 for lack of enough puzzles. Very enjoyable, well worth playing! ### 4/5 — Unique *2018-03-02, version 1.0.0* Of all the games I’ve played, lately, this was the most unique. The HOGs involve things like answering questions at a press conference, and other actions that are directly tied to the game. The story is interesting and quick paced, with a good mystery. I like riding the elevator to different rooms and finding clues. Minus one star for the glitch, as another player stated, after you place the fuses, and I had to delete and restart. After that it worked fine, and was well worth the money. If I had to pay more than that, it would have been Zero stars. Way too short. I was able to finish this game in one day. Statt WBS kann man auch Bubbleshooter spielen. Eine Karte ist ebenfalls vorhanden sowie Sammelobjekte. Es steht einem auch ein virtuelles iPad zu Verfügung, hier werden auch Zaubertricks erklärt. The last game from this developer (Banshee) was dull and tedious. I was hesitant about another EIPIX game so soon, because it seems that they are just churning them out and forgetting about quality assurance and enjoyability, not to mention proper English grammar. This game was entertaining from the start! I bought it and I am very pleased that I made the right decision. The genre is murder mystery/crime, one of my favorite genres. What makes it unusual is that it combines the world of magic. You get the usual EIPIX perks: customization of settings, labeled inventory with complex items, and excellent teleport map. At each location you must collect an adorable bunny symbol. There were no morphing objects to be found to my knowledge during gameplay, not even in the HO scenes, which was just perfect for me. They are a time waster to make short games seem longer, in case you hadn’t noticed. The graphics were pretty but the clarity was of course not the greatest. There was no journal but you were provided with a nifty tablet which had multiple functions, but mainly you were able to keep track of your investigation. The HO scenes had variation and many were actually entertaining. There was an alternate puzzle in the form of a bubble popping (as opposed to the horrific bubble shooting) game. The puzzles/ games were much more interesting than in their last offering, plus you learned how certain illusions were actually performed. Inventory usage was of course unusual because that is typical of EIPIX! The quality assurance of this game as far as touchscreen sensitivity issues was far better than in Banshee. My actual review will be 5 stars rounded down to 4.5 stars for lack of clarity on the graphics and also for length. It was not a long game even including the bonus adventure. However it was a terrific game and worth every penny! REMINDER: Demon Hunters 4 will be released this week by Artifex Mundi, hopefully Thursday but don’t take that to the bank. They were late on the release date with Noir Chronicles. Note to KimTwilight: I know you have had it with this developer but I promise you there were some hotties and it was a terrific game. You will love it and you know you can trust my review skills, as I don’t rate every game I play an automatic 5 stars and I call the developers out on the issues! Update: I saw your review and was happy that you played. Truthfully, the touch screen sensitivity issues were nothing compared to Banshee! Didn’t you think that game was tedious? Happy gaming to all! Let’s hope for two games on Thursday, fingers crossed! ### 4/5 — Sleight of Hand. Not a Children’s Game *2018-02-20, version 1.0.0* I’m really enjoying this game. I did have several rocky starts. Kept getting kicked out of game after I placed fuses. After numerous attempts, I then deleted and downloaded again. This time I didn’t skip intro. So far no more glitches. Excellent graphics, great storyline, love the HOA and mini games. I appreciate a game with a logical flow and flawless teleporting map. Rabbits are collected in every scene...yes some rabbits are challenging to find, as they hidden in plain site.
