Mainly because your choices truly do not matter. No matter what you ‘choose’ it always ends up being some reason you either can’t choose it or the ‘game’ treats it like you chose the other option anyway. For example, at one point you’re prompted to pick up a bone saw, or stay still. I chose bone saw. The character moved to grab it and got spooked by something moving and chose to stay still anyway. There are no choices to make here. The game will always continue regardless of your choice as if you never made it.
