## What is DEADZONE?

Eleven months since the roads went quiet. You've got an old fire station, four walls, and whoever's still breathing. Hold the line.

DEADZONE: Last Line is a zombie tower defense game built around a base you actually keep. Nothing resets between runs — every wall you patch, every survivor you bring home, and every upgrade you buy stays exactly where you left it.

HOLD THE LINE
Drag defenders onto the ground beside the road and let them work. Every kill pays scrap on the spot, so you're always deciding: reinforce what's holding, add another gun, or patch the barricade before the next wave hits it. Six defender types, four upgrade tiers each, and you can watch every one of them change as it digs in.

RUN THE CITY
Twelve sectors, each with its own street to hold. Pick one, spend fuel, and go — fuel refills on its own, so there's always another run waiting. Every sector you clear becomes a permanent scavenging route that keeps sending supplies home even with the app closed.

THREE STARS ON EVERY SECTOR
Clear it. Clear it without letting a single infected through. Then go back after dark and hold it in Nightfall. Thirty-six stars across the city, each one opening a supply crate — and unlocking the colours your squad fights in.

BUILD THE OUTPOST
Two work crews, eight buildings, real choices. The Barracks buys squad size. The Workshop buys upgrade tiers and unlocks new defender types. Early upgrades take seconds; later ones take hours — the outpost keeps growing whether you're watching or not. A NEXT UP line on the base screen always tells you the one thing worth doing next.

A NEW CHALLENGE EVERY MONDAY
One sector, one rule, one crate — the same run for every player, all week. Take five different contracts on a cleared sector to master it and its route pays out more, permanently.

GO ALL NIGHT
Cleared a sector? Send it into Nightfall — endless waves that never stop getting worse, with a boss every fifth one. There's no winning it, only holding as long as you can before pulling out with everything you found.

BRING THEM HOME
Every mission has a chance to recruit a survivor, and each one brings a permanent bonus to the outpost. Keep a field manual of every infected you've faced and every defender you can field.

FAIR BY DESIGN
Every ad in DEADZONE is optional and skippable, and nothing is ever locked behind one — ads only ever add a bonus on top of what you can already earn for free. Skins are earned with stars, not bought with power. No energy timers, no pay-to-win, no loot boxes.

- Real tower-defense combat: aim, range, and upgrade paths that matter
- A persistent base that grows even when you're not playing
- 12 sectors, 36 stars, 5 replayable contracts and endless Nightfall raids
- A new weekly challenge every Monday

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-09-07

THE CITY HAS STARS
Every sector now holds three stars: clear it, clear it without a single leak, and hold it in Nightfall to wave 10. Each star opens a one-time supply crate, and stars unlock defender skins.

SEVEN NEW LOOKS
Ember, Frostbite, Hazmat, Afterglow, Ashfall and Gilded — earned with stars, never bought with power. Supporters get Warpaint on the house.

WEEKLY CHALLENGE
One sector, one rule, one crate. The same challenge for everyone from Monday to Sunday, drawn from the sectors you've already cleared.

FIELD MANUAL
Every infected you've met and every defender you can field, with the numbers behind them.

EASIER TO PICK UP
A NEXT UP strip on the outpost always points at your best next move, a new CREW tab holds your roster, stars, skins and the manual, the how-to is three illustrated cards instead of a page of text, and tapping any resource tells you what it does.

A NEW LOOK
A new app icon, and every emoji in the interface replaced with drawn icons. Defenders visibly build up their position as you upgrade them — sandbags, then ammo crates, then steel plate — and every infected type now has its own silhouette on the road.

ALSO
- Five new achievements
- Two new optional rewarded offers, for star and weekly crates
- Fixes: the "while you were gone" double offer could vanish if you declined the ad; the version number now reads correctly
