I have to delete the app almost daily and reload to use it. The pictures work great if you take them thru the app however if you take pictures and upload the app does not give access to all the pictures you took. One must leave the app and try again. This usually takes several attempts. It is inconvenient at best. After 20 years of partnering with Dealercarsearch it is quite disappointing. ### 2/5 — Slower than dial up *2025-06-17, version 4.0.9* The app glitches constantly. Horrible plain and simple ### 2/5 — Too buggy *2025-02-21* Every time I login, I need 2FA. It’s a little ridiculous. Every 5th time I try to use the app, it will not open and I have to delete and re-download it. Now suddenly the in-app camera display is not aligned with the image I capture, so now I have to aim above my target and account for how much of the bottom is actually getting cut off. ### 2/5 — Dealer web site mgmt tool *2025-01-31, version 4.0.7* Crashes, fail to start, been using for 15 years no notable improvements ### 2/5 — Ugh *2022-08-31, version 4.0.0* The photo upload tool is the worst and gets worse each time. ### 1/5 — App Problem Again *2020-07-15, version 3.38* I understand you sometimes have glitches when a new app comes out but every update the app is crap for a few weeks or longer. Test it out before y’all make it go live. I wasn’t a hundred percent happy with the previous version because it didn’t decide the vin correctly or scan the vin correctly. I have to is Manheim App to scan the vin number copy and paste the vin to a dealer car search webpage so it will decode the vin correctly. Then finally I can us the app to take pictures and adjust the options. Well as of 7/13/20 you can no longer add pictures with the app. Jeez I really like Dealer Car Search but y’all need to get with the program when you introduce app updates... I’m trying to upload the pics and the next minute I don’t have access or I don’t find the pictures. Unbelievable!!! ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-04-02* I use this app for work and it’s terrible. Half of the pictures load half of them don’t. Half the time the app doesn’t open I have to delete it and re download literally every day. This is how we post the pictures to our vehicles and it’s an absolute nightmare when you got 60 plus vehicles daily. They don’t even have 3,000 customers! Truly terrible, don’t use their services. ### 1/5 — When will they wake up? *2025-03-28* They keep blaming iPhone photo format for picture uploading issues. When you say a phone, used by 155 million Americans, is the problem it shows me they are not willing to innovate or adapt. Don’t use them, don’t sign up. There are much better options available. The company’s time is limited from my point of view using them for 7 yrs, each year it got worse. ### 1/5 — Too many bugs *2022-03-23* App is very inconsistent, I will try to upload pictures from my camera roll and it won’t even let me press the “Done” button. Sometimes it lets me but I wish they could fix that. Asks to select pics and then freezes or partially uploads. Instead of making it easier it’s just 100 percent frustrating. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2021-03-05* App constantly crashes on multiple iPhones with current iOS installed. Will only notify on first text a customer sends, will not on subsequent texts. So if a customer responds to a text, I won’t be able to know without constantly checking the app. I run a single point independent so there’s a lot on my plate as it is.
