## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not Free

*2026-02-26*

It says it’s free, it’s not. And you don’t find that out until after you make an account. It also crashes.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2025-09-04*

Can’t use any of the coupons unless you pay $15 a year, which is not communicated until after you download the app and make an account. If it had told me beforehand, I wouldn’t be complaining.

### 1/5 — Subscription Required

*2023-06-11*

It’s $15 a year, but they don’t tell you that until you sign up. Strange business practice.

### 1/5 — $15 a year

*2021-05-04*

doesn’t say you have to pay for it until you download the app and make an account with them

### 2/5 — Paywall and Buggy

*2024-10-22*

They don’t tell you that you need to pay a subscription until you download the app and create an account with them. The app will also just close randomly if you are on it for long enough. Not worth your time until the paywall is taken off.

I would suggest to the developers to at least make a free option and an optional subscription tier if you really need to keep that feature. The whole point of this app becomes null when you make students pay $15 for coupons. I really hope that you reevaluate your purpose and goal as an app.

If you are a student reading this, there are a lot of good food deals from “Too Good To Go” your school will also likely offer benefits that you can use towards healthcare things. I hope that this helps you! You have a lot of benefits as a student that you can use to your advantage. Get those deals and keep your school ID on you!

### 2/5 — Has potential but

*2021-11-10*

Even though there is the option to turn on location to “filter “ deals in your area, it still pulls deals from all over the province. It would be more beneficial to be able to search by city and have only those relevant discounts in one’s immediate area and save that search. It would also be beneficial to filter out the online only deals - too repetitive. Otherwise it’s great to have provincially specific deals for post-secondary students in BC.
