I paid by Apple Pay before the taxi came.... once I left the car was charged a further £5.00 why did the app state £21.00 and only take this ????????? Until I left the car .... ### 1/5 — Advert notifications *2025-01-31, version 36.9.0* I get regular notifications from the app advertising their services. I don’t get taxis ver often but if I do it’d be from Dean; I don’t need to be reminded that they exist every couple of days. I looked in the app for control over notifications so that I could turn the promotions off and leave the updates for taxi status, but it’s not possible. So it’s looking like in the future if I want a taxi I might have uninstalled the Dean app in favour of another company who have more respect. ### 1/5 — The new updated app *2023-12-10, version 36.2.0* The new app doesn’t work at all, I much prefer the old app. Whenever I try to book a taxi a message comes up saying “oops there was problem, please try again in a moment” and continues to do this. Deans taxi will lose a lot of customers due to not being able to even book a taxi via there app for quickness rather than ringing up. ### 1/5 — App booking *2023-10-04, version 36.0.0* New app is awful and service has gone backwards. Previous service has always been on time or early but last 3 bookings have all been late! This one by 15 mins. Will go elsewhere as you’ve become too unreliable. When you have an advanced booking there should be no excuse for it being late. This was never received despite trying numerous times and trying a couple of email addresses (not sent to spam). One error message exposed the details of the structure of the database behind the app which is very bad practice.
