It’s a grind but not so much that it feels extremely repetitive and boring. It doesn’t feel like it’s P2W either. I couldn’t progress or level up anymore. You get one dragon to customize, but since stat bonuses are attached to the options you won’t be able to just use what you want. To “raise” your dragon you feed it sentient meat that it fights. This game isn’t groundbreaking or complex. It’s a silly time-waster that has no in-app purchases. There is a premium currency, but it’s bought with ad views rather than money.
