## What is Dearfold?

You will forget more than you think.

Not the big days — those keep themselves. The ones that go are small: the face they pull at something sour, the word they got wrong for a whole month, who was in the room the first time they laughed.

Dearfold keeps them. Open it and a book is waiting for you, with pages for the birth, coming home, every month of the first year, the firsts, and the people who love them. Each page tells you what it still needs, so you are never staring at a blank journal wondering where to begin.

A PAGE TAKES A FEW MINUTES
Each page asks small, answerable questions. Add photos. Write one line, or three paragraphs. Leave it half done and come back.

SAVE NOW, WRITE LATER
Something happens and you have ten seconds. Put the photo on the moments shelf and file it into the book when the house is quiet.

WRITING HELP THAT NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE
When the words will not come, Dearfold suggests a way to say it, in one of three tones. It runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device models. Nothing you write is uploaded, to us or to anyone.

THE PAGE LAYS ITSELF OUT
One photo or four, a caption or three paragraphs, the page chooses a layout that fits. You arrange nothing.

RESTYLE THE WHOLE BOOK AT ONCE
Ten artwork themes, ten colours, three headline fonts, two square sizes. Change your mind in the tenth month and every page follows.

READ IT LIKE A BOOK
Turn real printed pages in the reader. Export the finished book as a PDF, sized for a print shop, and keep it or print it.

ONE BOOK PER CHILD
Each child gets their own book, their own pages, their own style.

YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS
No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no trackers, no advertising, no third-party services of any kind. Your book lives on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud. We cannot read it. There is nothing of yours for us to read.
