## What is DearPal?

Loving an aging dog is the most important — and most uncertain — thing you'll do. DearPal makes it clear: exactly what to do for your dog today, a two-minute daily ritual, and a step-by-step path to caring for a senior dog. All built on veterinary senior-care research — not guesswork.

Most senior-dog advice is generic. DearPal isn't: you get a plan matched to what your dog can actually do today, four small daily acts you'll never regret, and lessons that teach you to catch what most owners miss. Grounded in AAHA Senior Care Guidelines and peer-reviewed research.

A PLAN MATCHED TO YOUR DOG'S ABILITY
Not every senior can take a walk, so DearPal never prescribes one it can't do. Tell us how your dog gets around and the plan adapts — sniff walks and strength work for the spry, gentle mobility for the stiff, or passive range-of-motion, massage, and comfort care for a dog that can't walk. Real care at every stage, never a consolation prize.

THE DAILY RITUAL — the four things you'll never regret
Two minutes a day, the acts that matter most for an aging dog:
• Photo — a daily portrait that becomes a living record and, in time, a memory book
• Gratitude — one line on what made you smile, so you cherish instead of only worry
• Body check — energy, appetite, mobility, mood, and anything new; the fastest way to catch trouble early
• Time together — dedicated, distraction-free minutes with your dog
Do all four, meet the day's care goal, and you've had a Perfect Day.

THE PATH — learn to care for an aging dog, step by step
A guided, level-by-level course that makes you your dog's best advocate:
• Meet your senior — what aging really is (and the #1 myth: "slowing down is just age" — it's often treatable pain)
• Senior-proof your home — footing, ramps, night lights
• Detective school — silent pain signs, breathing-rate checks, lump logs, memory screens
• Move & think — physio and brain games sized to your dog
• Your vet, your teammate — turn your logs into a vet-visit prep sheet
• The golden chapter — comfort, quality of life, and dignity, handled gently
Finish a lesson, gain a habit. Your Perfect Days unlock what comes next.

MEMBERSHIP
DearPal is a subscription app. You need a dearPal Plus to unlock everything — your care plan, the Path, the daily ritual, and all tracking — starting with a free trial.

NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR YOUR VET
DearPal is an educational and organizational tool — it is not veterinary or medical advice and does not diagnose illness. Always consult your veterinarian about your dog's health, diet, and any changes you're considering, and seek immediate veterinary care in an emergency. You know your dog; a vet confirms it.
