Nerven tutet allerdings die manipulierten Missionen die extra ungünstig aufgebaut sind um dich dazu zu bringen In Game Währung zu benutzen. Was mich zur Weißglut treibt ist der Text dazu diese wären „very easy“ Mistdreck dummer… Leider kommen noch dazu : ein zweiter Season Pass, bei dem die Restzeit des 1. gelöscht wird…dann wird es richtig übel, die letzten zwei Worms auf Max. Unfortunately, at some point microtransactions apparently became mandated by mobile game law and this game isn‘t better for it (at least in terms of gameplay - I can’t speak for the increased development capacities due to the additional income). In order to make microtransactions attractive, main mission progression is artificially gated by nerfing your current worm severely until you reach a certain level and then the next worm. While leveling is possible by playing side missions, every couple main missions, the next worm is required because from one mission to the next, the same enemies deal WAY more damage and have WAY more health and unlocking new worms is only feasible through either waiting a full day for new side missions which enable „season progression“ (the rewards for which include currency) or paying for microtransactions. This is really unfortunate, because that means that unless you‘re willing to pay, you can only play maybe two hours per day before you run into this wall. Now, two hours of mobile gaming in one day is reasonable on normal days, but if you need to kill serious time, like when travelling, these artificial gates - that wasn‘t there before the microtransactions existed! - are gonna incentivise you to pay, and that‘s nefarious psychological manipulation. Not different than any other game‘s with microtransactions, it‘s just that in this case I‘m particularly cogniscient of it because I know how the game worked before, and that‘s just unfortunate and frustrating. I remember this game as one of the best mobile games of all time - and now it‘s just „yet another money grab where I need to be on guard at all times to not fall for the tricks“. I really prefer playing my games without having to think about my bank account; escapism is kind of the point… The gameplay is still very enjoyable, and for most normal days, these gates won‘t make themselves known too intrusively. So out of loyalty, I‘m still rating 4 stars. But I really hope the devs reconsider the way they incentivise the microtransactions. I‘m very fine with pay to convenience, but pay to win, especially if it feels this artificial, never improves a game. ### 5/5 — JakeTheSnake *2024-02-14* Death worm is one of the best games ever! I love all the updates and the maps and worms are awesome! I can not thank you enough for creating this game! It is so fun I spend hours on my phone playing it. I have played so much I have every single worm at max levels and upgrades! There’s only one thing I have to complain about, I got the game thinking that there would be worms that aren’t in the game. Ads, like 30 currencies, paid “season pass”, dude are you kidding? Every positive review for this game is fake anyways just like every review on the App Store ### 1/5 — No more free pass? *2026-05-21, version 3.0.19* I once played this game and now when I download it back, I don’t get the pass anymore. ### 1/5 — Just get the free one *2026-05-15* It used to be that you got the season pass for free which was great the game was fun and kept you engaged by trying to get the season pass worm before it is gone and you got infinite energy but know all you get is infinite energy there is no point in buying this version at this point just remove it from the App Store because why not just buy the infinite energy for the same price there’s no point of deluxe edition anymore you know have to pay 5$ for the monthly season pass which isn’t that much until you add it up then it is 60$ a year it was good but know deluxe edition is useless because the developers want money which I understand but bring back the free season pass and add ads to the free version geometry dash makes like 90% of there money off of the free version because of the adds so bring back the free seasons pass and I will rate it 5 stars just please bring the free seasons pass back ### 1/5 — More Predatory Freemium Games *2025-08-20, version 2.0.042* Yet another classic mobile game ruined by microtransactions and daily reward feedback loops.
