Only two things; 1) I wish there was a way to get the grand total of the payments (not income) that are waiting to be cleared so that you don’t have to add them up manually. 2) I can’t figure out how to do a search for a specific transaction. Can anyone advise on that? The ONLY issue that I have with the app is the iCloud sync. I try to use this app on my iPhone and on my iPad, however, it never syncs accurately and some of my scheduled items repeat. This messes up my entire workflow and I need to correct it by checking each line item and verifying with my bank charges. The app has had this issue for years now it seems and hasn’t been resolved. ### 4/5 — Great app . Please add one feature and fix one *2026-01-18* Great app with a beautiful UI and a very smooth experience. Everything feels fast, polished, and thoughtfully designed. A few improvements would make it even better. Adding the ability to assign icons to expense entries—and customize their colors—would really help with visual organization. The auto-fill feature for descriptions and categories is helpful, but it can be a bit too aggressive. If I previously entered “coffee with friend” and later want to type just “coffee,” it automatically forces the old description. Allowing partial matches without overriding new input would make this much smoother. Overall, an excellent app that’s already a pleasure to use. Allows for multiple accounts, (current, credit card, savings, etc). Simple to enter data, easy to mark cleared items with just a swipe. Appreciate its simple interface. But over the last year I’ve noticed it to be buggy, introducing errors, an no longer reliable. Several times I have noticed it doubling up transactions, even doing so with several going back several weeks - even if they weren’t originally doubled up. These are not user entry errors. It makes life much easier and, no calculator is needed! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Charged my card without approval *2024-08-25, version 7.0.2* When I first installed the app, there was no notification that there was an initial fee. So I continued with the install. My install was initially declined. I thought this was odd (I only have apply cash setup for the payment method due to this issue) so I used a debit card. Install completed. Immediately following, I got a call from my banks fraud detection department wanting to know if I authorized a charge from apple for $9.99. I did not. Card is now useless. Great. I had another debit card on file and it was also charged $8.99. That one went through, but I will be contacting my back first thing tomorrow morning to dispute that charge. Awesome. A 2nd care rendered useless. So far this app has tried to collect almost $19.00 for what? And no, I did NOT sign up for the premium option for a charge of $19.99 (or whatever it is) per month. I only installed the basic supposedly ‘free’ app. And this is why my better judgement said not to authorize install if it was declining my Apple Cash. ### 1/5 — Limit of 2 account *2024-07-21* The nonsense part is that you can create only 2 account. **Developer response:** Sorry, not everything is free. ### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY! *2024-07-01* This app is so complicated that even a banker can’t figure it out. I added all this info and it couldn’t even tell me, after that, how much I had budgeted in a category. What good is that? When I requested a refund of $19.99 I paid, it was DENIED. I appealed - still DENIED! This app is a COMPLETE RIP OFF! I have NEVER had a refund request denied before. If an app is not what’s expected - especially at that price (per month!) - it should be refunded without question. Do not buy anything from Ivan Pavlov Pty! **Developer response:** First of all, refunds are handled by Apple. If you request was denied, they made that call for their own reasons and I had nothing to do with that. Secondly, the app has no price “per month”. It has an annual subscription. I have many senior users who are successfully using the app and find it working well. I doubt they were all bankers. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-09-21, version 6.2* Worst accounts app I have used, and I have used a few. Awful layout, unable to see clearly account activity over coming months. Also refused to refund my £19.99. It is a wonderful app to do your account entries. It is very easy to setup and use and it also has a Mac App that syncs lightning fast to iCloud. I always loved this app and then I got an external keyboard with a numeric keypad and now I love it even more. The keyboard works as you would expect (tabbing etc) but of the other apps I use, this is the only one that does. If the other apps that I’ve spent time with went away or did some type of major change that I didn’t like; I wouldn’t be sad beause I have this app. It’s my goto app anyway. You might wonder why I use more than one checkbook app. The answer is that I found D&C later in life so I just keep using them. A bit of OCD perhaps. Finally, if you ever need assistance from the developer (unlikely), I am very confident saying that you will get it and pretty quickly. I had an issue that was probably created by me and the developer set me straight. ### 5/5 — This is the REAL deal! *2026-02-28, version 7.6.3* Finally, a check register app that actually works like it should on ALL counts!!! I only have one complaint (which didn't affect my rating) and that is the Payee and Description lists. I found if you delete a name from either list it also deletes the name from the actual account register and replaces it with a Generic Name. On my previous app you could delete names from these lists without affecting the account registers. It just means the lists become really huge overtime. ### 5/5 — Probably the best financial app on this store *2025-11-21* They're simply isn't enough space here for me to tell you how brilliant this app is. It has all the features you could possibly wish for and yet, remains straightforward, intuitive and easy to use. It even has an excellent cash flow forecast which means you can look three months ahead and see how much money is in your bank, accounting for both scheduled payments and pending payments. For example, how much money will I have in my bank account on the 15th of January, it is very easy to generate the report which gives you exactly this information. Additionally, although Ivan doesn't state that this app is VoiceOver compatible, I can say as a blind IOS user of seven years and a computer owner of over 45 years, this app is both exceptionally brilliant and accessible for blind users as well. Well done Ivan, you have obviously worked extraordinarily hard on this app, thank you! ### 5/5 — Highly recommended *2025-11-18, version 7.5.4* I enjoy using this App daily.
