## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.36 — 2025-12-19

Shift details were missing a key ingredient: attachments. We've added a dedicated Attachments section so any files linked to a client/shift are right where you'd expect them

### 1.0.35 — 2025-12-15

We had a bit of a hiccup where the app would crash when trying to read metadata from a shift that didn't have a subject assigned. Like trying to read a book that doesn't exist, it wasn't working out. We've added proper null checks so the app gracefully handles shifts without subjects instead of throwing a tantrum.

Speaking of shifts without subjects, we noticed that when a shift had no subject assigned, the section would just... disappear. Like a magician's trick, but not the fun kind. Now we show a friendly empty state with a custom icon, so you know there's nothing there instead of wondering if something broke. It's the little things that make a big difference.

### 1.0.34 — 2025-12-11

Shift details were feeling a bit incomplete, like a puzzle missing a few key pieces. We've now added a dedicated shift details screen where you can see everything about your shift, from client information to team members, all in one cozy place. Tap on any shift to dive into the details.

Speaking of shifts, we noticed that ending a shift without leaving a note was a bit like leaving a party without saying goodbye. Not cool. Now we're gently reminding you to write a shift note before you clock out. It's the polite thing to do, and it helps keep everyone in the loop.

We've given client avatars a colorful makeover. Like a box of crayons, each client now gets their own vibrant color that stays consistent across the app. No more boring gray circles, these avatars have personality.

Those description badges were looking a bit too uniform, like a row of identical twins. We've added a colorful variant that cycles through sharp, vibrant colors, think iOS system colors but with more pizzazz. Your client descriptions will now pop with personality.

Dropdown menus were also not selecting the default value if you just pressed "Submit" without choosing anything. Perhaps it's a good reminder to always be intentional in our individual choices? Eh, probably just a bug. Our bad.

We dropped the ball on location display, which was showing generic placeholders instead of the actual room numbers from client metadata. The next time you check your shift location, you'll see the real deal, room numbers, addresses, and all the details that matter.

The "Today's Shift" card on the home screen was feeling a bit left out, unable to navigate anywhere when tapped. Like a door that was locked for no reason, we've now unlocked it. Tap away and explore your shift details with ease.

Shift notes were hiding in the shadows, not visible anywhere in the shift details. We've brought them into the light—now you can see all your notes in reverse chronological order, with timestamps that actually make sense. It's like a journal, but for your shifts.

Checklist items were just sitting there, looking pretty but not doing much. We've made them interactive—tap to mark tasks as complete, and watch them update in real-time. No more wondering if you've checked everything off.

Team members were getting lost in the shuffle, buried somewhere in the shift data. We've given them their own dedicated section in shift details, so you can see who you're working with at a glance. Teamwork makes the dream work, after all.

Subject metadata was being shy, hiding all that useful information like allergies, care levels, and emergency contacts. We've brought it front and center with proper formatting, dates look like dates, arrays display nicely, and objects show their structure. Everything has its place now.

The save note button was getting a bit too cozy with the keyboard, like two friends who don't know when to give each other space. We've added some breathing room so the button sits comfortably above the keyboard, making it easier to save your notes without feeling cramped.

Shift cards were missing the client name, which made it hard to tell shifts apart at a glance. We've added the subject name to each card, so you can quickly identify which shift is which. It's the little things that make a big difference.

The Day/Night shift indicator was floating around like it didn't know where to belong. We've moved it to the same row as the start/end shift buttons, creating a more organized and intuitive layout. Everything in its right place.

### 1.0.32 — 2025-11-24

We've thrown a party! When it's your special day, the app celebrates with you, interactive balloons float across the screen, ready to be popped with a satisfying confetti burst. It's the little touches that make your day feel extra special.

• Added interactive birthday balloons that you can tap to pop, complete with confetti celebrations
• Birthday greetings now appear in your home screen header on your special day
• Your date of birth is now displayed in your personal information
• Polished the birthday experience to make your day feel truly special

Here's to another year!

### 1.0.31 — 2025-11-22

What's New in This Version

We tidied the shelves, polished the glass effects, and ran a white-gloved finger over every screen. Just a little routine maintenance to ensure everything is shipshape.

• Gave our headers a beautiful blur effect so content flows smoothly underneath
• Polished the glass effects across the app for that premium feel
• Fixed keyboard handling so forms play nice when you're typing
• Spruced up the calendar and made it look even better
• Tuned up the visual consistency across light and dark modes

Full steam ahead!
