## What is Debrief?

Debrief is a voice-first AI coach for the system design interview — the round that decides senior software-engineering offers at top tech companies.

Built by an engineering leader who spent years as a VP of Engineering and on hiring committees at companies like Apple, Amazon, and Netflix, Debrief turns the part of interview prep you can't practice alone — a real, probing back-and-forth — into something you can run on demand.

HOW IT WORKS
• Start with a free level check. Talk through a short diagnostic and get an honest read on where you stand, from L4 to L7.
• Practice full mock interviews with Kai, your AI interviewer. Speak your answers out loud, sketch your architecture on the built-in whiteboard, and get interrupted and probed the way a real interviewer would — clarifying scope, pushing on bottlenecks, testing your tradeoffs.
• Get a written evaluation after every session: a rubric-graded report calibrated to your target level and company style, with the specific moments that helped and hurt.
• Sharpen with focused drills and tutorials between mocks.
