### 4/5 — Does the job very well indeed.

*2013-01-11, version 1.6*

I've tried a lot of these apps and Debts is still the one I'm using to track everything. Great to see the progress meter filling up as your debt shrinks. Highly recommend this app. Now that there's an iPad interface we just need a (secure) sync and it will be the ultimate debt tracking app.

### 4/5 — 求めていたアプリ！

求めていたアプリなのですが、使い方がイマイチよくわかりません(>_<)

### 4/5 — Love it!

*2011-02-28*

I've been looking for a debt management app for a while now and most of the others I found were useful but the didn't do what I needed. I wanted an app that would let me prioritize my debts because I have some that are fixed loans and will payout on time like my car payments, but I have others that have a promotional interest free period that have to be paid out by a certain date otherwise I'll get charged the accrued interest. This app lets me prioritize and still use the snowball method. It tells me my estimated debt free date and also gives me each individual debts estimated payoff date. It also let's me adjust my payment amount, when I set up the various debts I just put the minimum payment amount in, but when you go to the payments tab, you can edit the amount you actually paid which is great because I usually make more than the minimum payment. It then recalculates my future payments and debt free date. This app is definitely worth the $3!

### 4/5 — Debts

*2011-01-09*

I tried debttracker, debt free, debt snowball and pay off debt and I have to say this one is the best one of all these debt apps. Once you learn how to use this app it is a really good app to setting up your plan to get out of debt. It was good they added the fix to be able to put 0% as an option. The only thing That debts needs too fix is the option to go back and edit your debts in case you enter it wrong instead of starting over. Very good app!! If you stick to it you will get yourself out of debt. You also can adjust your plan if it is to tough on your checkbook.

### 4/5 — Great concept

*2010-12-03*

I wrote an earlier review of this app that was not very positive. I hope this one will over write my earlier comments. Initially I was under the impression that we were unable to edit the debt entered but realized that tapping on the debt and clicking on the blue disclosure button takes you to different areas. Now I can say I'm very excited and look forward to successfully using the app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Better, free apps than this one. Don’t waste your money!

*2019-01-20*

Disappointed that once you enter debts they are “uneditable” when it comes to editing planned payment it does NOT save. There are better free apps that I will continue to use instead of one this one that had to be purchased.

### 1/5 — Waste of $

*2013-04-10*

I just downloaded this app and it doesn't work. When I put in a balance or payment amount, it shuts down and loses it all. I want a refund!!!!

### 1/5 — Troubled

*2010-12-20*

I cannot enter debts. Tried everything, seems simple enough but debts do not save. I just got had for $3.00

### 1/5 — Hate this app. Just give me my $ back!

*2010-12-12*

You NEED to input something under "interest" in order to be able to click on the "DONE" button when adding new financials to your list. So apparently, ALL DEBTS MUST have an interest (%) charge, in order to be counted or added on anyone's list??!

### 2/5 — Doesn't save "planned payments"

*2016-10-11*

This app says that you can edit planned payments when the "snowball payment" option is turned off. So I turned off that option and tried to edit the payment, it doesn't save! I clicked done and then went back to the payment schedule, no change. What's the point of being able to change the payment if nothing else is going to update?! Pretty annoying.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2015-01-16*

Pretty basic. Nothing here you can't get for free elsewhere.

### 2/5 — Needs a little more work

*2010-12-08, version 0*

This app would be great if it didn't freeze all the time. You're not able to change the opening balance amount without having to either input a payment, or spending amount. If I made a mistake and needed to change the amount- it doesn't allow me an easy way to do so. A lot of things seemed locked in stone once you initially input your numbers, and the "done" button freezes up frequently. If the app worked the way it's supposed to, it would be perfect. Hopefully an update is made to fix all the glitches. Design and concept has a lot of potential

### 3/5 — Crashes

*2019-02-16*

Constantly crashes on ipad pro.
Haven't found a way to remove extra payment on the debt snowball. If you remove a payment, the snowball extra stays the same, doesn’t appear to be a way to change it. Seems pretty accurate as far as pay of date goes. Could be 5* with some fixes.

### 4/5 — Best snowball tracker I’ve found

*2018-05-26*

The app has just about everything I need, functionally. The UI is a bit spartan, but it’s clean and gets the job done. The ability to add payments and expenses to your debts is a feature that is shockingly difficult to find in other debt trackers, and is what set this one apart for me. Being able to see the impact of those variables as you go is really great.

The biggest thing missing for me so far is the ability to edit payments. If you make a mistake when entering a payment or expense detail, you can’t edit it. You’ll have to delete it and re-enter.

Great work so far!

### 4/5 — Awesome!

*2014-04-22, version 2.0.1*

Great app great interface.
Maybe introduce a password protecter?
Debts are very personal and would not want friends or family clicking on to this app.
Cheers

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love It!!

*2020-04-11*

In 4 months I paid off two creditors totaling $9,095. The snowball feature is motivational for me. One at a time and I soon as possible seeing the actual amount (with interest) I am paying long term. Simple and what I need. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Best debt payoff app

*2019-08-10*

Debts has a clean interface, is simple to use, and is very responsive. I appreciate having a goal to shoot towards and being able to see the expected date of payoff and percentage completed is a huge motivation for me. Thanks!

Only improvements I could suggest would be using Touch/Face ID to unlock and the ability to back up either through email or iCloud.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2016-01-28, version 2.2*

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I have tried many debt monitor apps and this one is by far my favorite. Clean, simple design, user friendly, organized, ability to do custom payments if you're the type to pay more than the minimum payment, and I love the pie chart to help me visualize where the majority of my debt is concentrated. If you're looking for an easy-to-use debt monitor app, this is the one for you! Worth the purchase, in my opinion.

### 5/5 — Just Works!

*2014-01-12*

This app is perfect! It helps ,my debt with simplicity. Its amazing how it breaks down all debt from monthly payments to the last payment of my debt. Must buy!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2011-11-21, version 1.3.2*

Great little app. Simple to use. Helped me get all my finances sorted

### 5/5 — Perfect app!

*2011-08-06, version 1.3.1*

I spent whole day to review all the apps using snowball method. This is thr best one i see ever. I need to find something can customize the order of my all debts. Finally, this one made it. Other apps are slow or without custom order or not accuracy as this app. If this app can allow me input initial balance and current balance, that will be perfect!

### 5/5 — Debt is the Winner

*2011-03-10*

I was trying out about 5 different debt snowball apps. At first I wasn't impressed with this app and I had moved it to the side for deleting. Some of the other apps were simpler to work with less screens to navigate in order to get your payoff schedule. But when it came to entering your monthly payments and recalculating your snowball payoff all the others failed. Calculation were off...unable to adjust monthly payments...unable to adjust the payment dates. This app performs nicely once you get use to it. So glad I didn't delete.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2011-03-02, version 1.2.1*

Good app, would recommend to anyone it WILL help you track your debts well.

### 5/5 — Great App to track debts

*2011-01-08, version 1.2*

Great app, almost the finished the article but cannot put a min payment % yet - emailed support and got a quick reply to say it'll be considered in the next update! Otherwise does what it says well!
