## What is Decade?

Ten years will pass either way. The only question is whether you'll have a tree.

Decade turns what you put into money, health and reading into a tree that grows. Log once a day and it grows a little. Stop, and it doesn't die.


One tree, five stages

Seedling, sapling, growing, mature, ancient.
Size isn't your streak. It's your accumulated years — each year's completion rate multiplied by how much of that year you were here, added up.


Three areas, one tree

Wealth. Set a monthly amount to put in. Log the transfer.
Health. Set a weekly count or duration.
Knowledge. Set books per year. Track reading with a timer.

Run all three, or just one.


A missed day doesn't reset anything

Most habit apps score you on consecutive days. Miss one and you start over.
This one doesn't. Finish sixty percent of the year and the tree grows sixty percent. That sixty percent stays.

Health and knowledge allow two backfills a month. Wealth allows none — the transfer either happened or it didn't.
The first thirty days are a calibration window. Adjust your targets freely; aiming too high costs you nothing.


Blossom and fruit

At ninety percent of your yearly target, the tree blossoms.
At one hundred, it fruits, and the fruit stays until January first.

At the end of each year, that year is recorded as a good year or a lean one, and drawn as a ring.
Lean years get drawn too. They were part of it.


About the rate of return

Wealth projections use a rate you enter yourself.
The screen always says "you assume X%", because that's what it is — an assumption, not a promise.
This app recommends no investments and tells you nothing about what to buy.
