### 2/5 — Great content terrible search facility

*2026-06-26*

App is let down massively by it’s poor search facility. You type in the name of a wine and the auto correct turns into some nonsense. Make the slightest spelling error in a wines name and you get no useful search result - just 14,000+ wines from the database.

**Developer response:** Hi MargBe, thank you for the review. We're glad you love the content and thank you for voicing your concerns in regards to the search function. We're constantly working on app updates and will pass this feedback directly to our developers to improve the search and autocorrect behavior. If you have any other examples, please drop us a line at support@decanter.com. Thanks, The Digital Support Team

### 2/5 — Limited functionality

*2026-06-19*

I enjoy the Decanter content and became a subscriber in order to access the reviews. I was disappointed to find the reviews section of the app doesn’t work at all.

**Developer response:** Apologies for the issue here. We've now fixed the bug the wine reviews section. Please let us know if you're still experiencing problems

### 2/5 — Doesn’t open dowloaded issues

*2026-04-22*

You pay for premium, you download issues. The problem is that if you’re not on WiFi, downloading the issues is pointless because you can’t open the app. Thanks but no thanks.

**Developer response:** Hi Briguy2017, Thank you for your valuable feedback. I will inform the Decanter Premium team of your review for further investigation. If you would like to get in contact with us please email support@decanter.com.

*2024-11-01, version 1.0.2*

I am unable to login to the app which is incredibly frustrating as I’ve been a member for years

### 1/5 — NOT Working

*2024-10-10*

Suddenly this morning I cannot sign it to view content. I completed the login and password, then it does not sign me in and asked for the same information again. I cannot even cancel my subscription because I cannot sign it. Fix your sign in online!!!

### 1/5 — It Working

*2024-10-04*

Suddenly this morning I cannot sign it to view content. I completed the login and password, then it does not sign me in and asked for the same information again.

### 5/5 — Spend more time re installing the app recently than i do reading it!

*2024-08-20*

This app has worked well for several years but has suddenly started to stop updating. The helpful technical team tell you to reinstall which doesn’t work and eventually correct it after several weeks. Last time Its worked for a few weeks and then stopped working again. 3 yrs ago this app was a nightmare and it looks like we’ve gone back to this very brand damaging behaviour!

**Developer response:** Hi Duncan Maw, Thank you for brining this to our attention. Please contact support@decanter.com with more information so we can investigate further.

### 2/5 — Useless if offline

*2024-08-07*

The content is great and it works fantastic if connected to the internet. They offer the ability to download the magazine but the app itself won’t work if offline so renders it useless. Please fix this. I posted this a year or so back and it’s still the same. You can download the magazine but if you are offline it doesn’t work. Can’t be that hard.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear you are experiencing issues access content. Please contact support@decanter.com with more information so we can investigate further. Many thanks.
