Great content terrible search facility
App is let down massively by it’s poor search facility. You type in the name of a wine and the auto correct turns into some nonsense. Make the slightest spelling error in a wines name and you get no useful search result - just 14,000+ wines from the database.
Limited functionality
I enjoy the Decanter content and became a subscriber in order to access the reviews. I was disappointed to find the reviews section of the app doesn’t work at all.
Doesn’t open dowloaded issues
You pay for premium, you download issues. The problem is that if you’re not on WiFi, downloading the issues is pointless because you can’t open the app. Thanks but no thanks.
Wine Producer loves Decanter !
As a wine producer I find Decanter both entertaining and informative . If you love Wine , You will too !
Why oh why
I am unable to login to the app which is incredibly frustrating as I’ve been a member for years
NOT Working
Suddenly this morning I cannot sign it to view content. I completed the login and password, then it does not sign me in and asked for the same information again. I cannot even cancel my subscription because I cannot sign it. Fix your sign in online!!!

Spend more time re installing the app recently than i do reading it!
This app has worked well for several years but has suddenly started to stop updating. The helpful technical team tell you to reinstall which doesn’t work and eventually correct it after several weeks. Last time Its worked for a few weeks and then stopped working again. 3 yrs ago this app was a nightmare and it looks like we’ve gone back to this very brand damaging behaviour!

Useless if offline
The content is great and it works fantastic if connected to the internet. They offer the ability to download the magazine but the app itself won’t work if offline so renders it useless. Please fix this. I posted this a year or so back and it’s still the same. You can download the magazine but if you are offline it doesn’t work. Can’t be that hard.

Log in frustrations
Near impossible to log in and stay logged in.
Regular reinstalling is a big pain on this great app
Love this Decanter Premium App but having to reinstall it every few weeks - often at inconvenient times is a pain. This glitch should have been fixed by now 🤨

Decanter Premium is not worth the price. The app is very glitchy on both iPhone and iPad.

First something changed with the login. I used to login with my decanter.com credentials and now I can’t. And there is no way to email support.
Second in 2021 I asked “I would love it if you had easy access to vintage reports or charts. As a shop owner it would be a tremendous asset.” as they are even a bit to discover on their website I subscribe too at the Premium Digital & Premium App Bundle. I got this reply: “
All magazine and exclusive Premium content can be found on the website and app. Is it anything in particular you are having trouble locating?”
I just asked for easy to find vintage reports!

Still an awful app
Nothing has changed about this app in the years I’ve had a premium subscription and there is nothing premium about it. It does a basic job of letting you read an online magazine, so why do I have to regularly delete it and reinstall to be able to login?
Logging in
The site never recognises my membership so I reset my password and it still doesn’t pick-up the new one and so I don’t have access. Really frustrating bearing in mind the membership cost.
Can’t login on app
Not possible to login on app if you haven’t purchased the subscription through the App Store.
Giant scam apparently

Can’t access it
I bought this app and it looks great, but it asks me to sign in. After I sign in, I try to access some content and it asks me to sign in again, so I am stuck in an endless loop.
My complaint to the help line told me I need to pay a subscription but I already paid £19 for the app. Doesn’t seem right and if it is right, then it is a swindle.
