It's fairly accurate. I use it in the studio to check volume, and I use it at venues as well. Negative: It doesn't work in airplane mode. When I am in airplane mode, I can pretty much forget about using this app. I'm picky about sound levels. So picky that I ended up buying a separate decibel meter, one that doesn't have to connect to the internet to work. I really wish apps didn't force me to connect in order to work. A dealbreaker. Si vous n’avez pas envie d’avoir les détails, passez juste votre chemin maintenant. Cette étape déjà elle semble avoir une bonne interface, la prise en main et facile mais il n’y a pas une page où il n’y a pas de pub à chaque fois que tu redémarre l’app, tu te prends une pub dans les cinq secondes qui viennent et le mesureur de décibel n’est pas du tout précis. En plus on ne peut pas dépasser les 100 dB, je ne sais pas pourquoi le maximum et 99. Il pourrait faire un effort aussi sur le nombre d’options Bref je ne recommande pas l’app mais elle a quand même un potentiel si vous êtes restés jusqu’à la fin. Merci et bonne journée. I wanted to test the dB of some Air Tag dupes from Amazon. I turned on the beeping, came back to this app, and the advert came on and lasted longer than the beeping! (Twelve beeps, roughly a second apart, so should have had plenty of time). It runs an ad every time you come back to the app, so it’s impossible to use it to test any noise that isn’t constant. ### 1/5 — Adverts!!! *2026-06-11, version 1.9.6* Annoying to wait for adverts- what’s the point! Delete! ### 1/5 — SCAM *2026-01-22* This application charges you 8.99 per week for an essentially trivial feature. The paid version is absolutely terrible and they refuse to refund. Apple also refuses to refund because of the pressure these hucksters put on them. It’s clearly and obviously a scam app. All of the positive reviews are fake. The developer response to the review is purely to boost their search rating in the App Store. They DO NOT CARE AT ALL. Buyer be ware. **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your review. Do not attempt to install this on your phone. Nice little pop-up pirate beating switch comes up right after that and then of course it’s going to jack up your phone.
