Completely quiet and still home, registers near 65-70..!? Two different compressors register the same even one is completely louder. This app is a complete failure. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2022-05-25* No noise in the room it registers 55db as a standard baseline read (I’m serious, it’s 3:43am here, everyone else is in bed, no tv, dead quiet house, stand-alone house, no noise from heater, fridge, street, neighbours etc & that is the read 🤦🏼‍♀️). Whispering it registers 95db. Speaking quietly it registers 110db. Talking normal range it is off the charts. God forbid anything above a normal conversation should occur! I had dl'ed a free db that never matched what this one was saying. A buddy had an expensive decibel meter that I borrowed. This app wasn't even close and the free app was.
