DecibelKit turns your iPhone into a precision sound-level meter — built for the moments when "that seems loud" isn't good enough.

A true analog dB dial sweeps with the room in real time, backed by a clean digital readout of current, minimum, maximum, and average levels. Tap into the detail the way a pro field meter would:

A quick note on accuracy: iPhone microphones are designed for voice, not laboratory-grade acoustic measurement. DecibelKit is excellent for relative readings, monitoring, and awareness, and calibration brings it closer to a reference — but it is not a substitute for a certified Type 1/Type 2 sound-level meter for regulatory or safety-critical use.
