I love the variety of effect. However, the effects are way too random to be used unless you have a very well thought creative process and you’re a professional, you will not find use of this app. Wish they added some sort of tutorial or examples of what you can achieve with the app. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t save pictures *2024-02-21, version 6.0.4* Doesn’t save pictures, just a black square. When I save an image now, it’s just black. It’s also started crashing when attempting to save. Totally useless now but it was a fantastic app to use. (Ps : j’adore cette app) ### 5/5 — This app is the best glitch app available *2022-02-10, version 6.0.4* UPDATE: Of all the glitch apps (I’ve downloaded most of them), this is one of the ones that has been around the longest and is still the best one the App Store has to offer. Although the updates have been a bit haphazard as far as timing, the results have almost always been worth the wait. I’m impressed with the amount pf customization the dev has added to this program and that is what really makes this app stand apart from all the others. A couple suggestions for the dev: I have found myself on several occasions, taking the time to rearrange the order of my effect settings, only to have them randomly reset themselves if I use the “random” peramiters/effects” buttons on the main page. This is really annoying! I would love to see some way to rearrange the effects in a way that they would remain in the order I have chosen regardless of how I decide to use the effects unless I purposefully change their order myself. My biggest suggestion is this last one: Please create a setting that allows one to “turn off” glitch effects one doesn’t like. There are two or three glitch effects I’ve never used, and for whatever reason, I just don’t like the results they provide. It’s frustrating having to turn them off every time they get chosen in a random setting. It seems like being able to disable/delete a setting would be an easy tweak to the program since deleting is currently an option for the effects we add ourselves. I’m so glad this app is still getting updates! Most of my apps as old as this one have gone by the wayside, so I’m happy to see this one has not joined many of the others in the “no-update” trash bin. 🙂❤️🙂❤️ ***** What happened? Fortunately, my iPhone 6+ has not had most of the issues that many other users seem to be having. Prior reviews: BUT... Where is this "great update," that was promised OVER A YEAR ago... ... This developer has a bad record of waiting for (very) long periods of time before releasing an update that allows the user to forget how long they were waiting for said update (the current update I'm referring to here was promised prior to the release of iOS 7??). It could be worse, but I'd probably hesitate before investing in another one of their apps due to the "consistent inconsistencies..." There are two things that I would request though, at any price; one simple, one possibly requiring some problem solving. The first is that, while I realise it makes sense to have the show/hide icon on screen even when the other icons are hidden, since exported images do occasionally differ from what is shown in the app it would be handy to have the ability to take a screengrab and not have to edit the icon out. If the screen is tapped when the icons are hidden, that would bring them back, thus eliminating the need for a show icons icon. The second and more complex thing would be addition of some way to capture live video, the way that it shows through the in-app camera. There would be no requirement for sound, any way that the video feed could be dumped as a file would just be amazing. Even short animated image files would be rad. Ich habe es geliebt! Die Geschwindigkeit, mit der ich Bildvariationen erzeugen konnte war dabei die Voraussetzung für das Produzieren von überzeugenden Ergebnissen. Die aktuelle Version ist leider so langsam geworden, dass sie für mich überhaupt nicht mehr zu gebrauchen ist. Zu ärgerlich! Ich kann den Entwicklern nur raten ganz schnell eine Rolle rückwärts zu machen, wenn sie ihr erstaunliches Werkzeug noch retten wollen Glücklich wäre ich, wenn ich mir die alte Version von decim8 wieder herunterladen könnte. Can anyone tell me with my iPhone 15 it is a 48 megapixel sensor but when I use the camera with the Decim8 app. Is the image the 448 megapixel or is it downsized and if so, what are the dimensions. This was my favorite photo-tweaking app from the start. It’s like finding a long-lost friend again ha ha. Layout is great. Image quality is greatly improved from the last I remember. Regarding effects, I had stopped using some years ago when the app had been updated with new features but caused the effects to become subpar. There is a definite improvement now. I’m still working on achieving the the kind of results I used to get though. It will be interesting to see if it’s possible. It may be a matter of rediscovering those synergistic custom combinations again. And, of course, I’m itchin’ to go all mad scientist with those new effects...
