## Newest reviews (16 of 113)

### 4/5 — Used to be great

*2020-02-27, version 2.5.1*

I used to use this all the time but now it hasn’t been updated since core set 2020

### 3/5 — Late database updates

*2019-11-02, version 2.5.1*

M20 at came late and throne of endraine is no where to be seen after over a month since it's release. Seems like this app is no longer supported. Rip.

### 3/5 — Love the app but...

*2019-10-01, version 2.5.1*

I wish they’d make the new set available to download BEFORE the pre-release so I can get some sealed practice in before the event.

### 4/5 — Fantastic

*2019-01-20, version 2.5.1*

I love this app. I have been playing MTG for about 9 months and this app is helped me go from an 0-3 player to a consistent 2-1 and occasionally 3-0 player. The reviews for each card are a great starting point and simulating is easy. I like it more on ipad then iphone however until I know the cards, then both are great.

I do wish there was more communication from the development team ... why no Ultimate Masters? And what about Ravnica Allegiance? As of pre release weekend, they do not have Allegiance ... I wonder if WOTC forbids them to add the set until release date? Not sure.

### 2/5 — Great Idea Poor Execution

*2018-12-31, version 2.5.1*

The app is a great idea but with almost all sets behind a pay wall it gets boring fast. I didn’t get the app to practice drafting, I have other online versions for that (and they’re free) just grabbed it for on the go fun. You can only draft triple scars or Innistrad so much.

### 2/5 — Extreme Potential

*2018-11-14, version 2.5.1*

This app has extreme potential I used it when Hour of Devastation was new, however I don’t think that charging $4 per set is fair without the option for multiplayer drafting with other humans, a locally stored card database and collection system. Honestly decked builder and drafted should be one homogenous app. And I’d be willing to pay more for a single program. I’d even be willing to pay maybe $5 or $10 in the builder app for a draft function that asks maybe $1 per set or better yet, has a 1 time purchase option that unlocks all future sets. Hell, I’d even be willing to put up with ads on an app that I payed for if the draft function were free. Once a set rotates out of standard, it should honestly be free.

### 4/5 — iPhone update :(

*2018-09-29, version 2.4.7*

Used to work amazingly but crashing since most recent iPhone update

### 3/5 — Please Fix Dominaria

*2018-04-22, version 2.4.7*

Please fix the Dominaria pack generator. There is at least one legendary creature in every Dominaria pack IRL so that should also be the case in the app. That one difference makes a large change in how you draft and since we use this app to practice for a real draft, we should be looking at packs that are as close to realistic as possible.

### 4/5 — Scars issue

*2018-04-12, version 2.4.7*

I love using this app to draft older sets. I have been trying to draft Scars, but it gets to downloading 6 images left and then stays there. Help!!

### 2/5 — Pricey

*2017-03-17, version 2.2.3*

A bit too expensive, reduce the price for 5 stars.

### 2/5 — Refund

*2016-04-27, version 2.2.3*

I have been trying to get my money back for a set I got but it's not working
😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓

### 4/5 — Great

*2016-01-20, version 2.2.3*

I give it four stars only because I can not actually play it afterwards. Other than that cool app.

### 2/5 — AWFUL controls

*2015-04-29, version 2.1.1*

You have to SWIPE WITH TWO FINGERS just to read a card.

### 4/5 — Standard?

*2015-02-15, version 2.1.1*

Great app but I can't find khans on the app like it displays in the App Store. Where the heck is fate?? Let me buy you're goodies.

### 4/5 — Great drafting app with minor bugs

*2014-10-06, version 2.1.1*

Just like the title states, if you just want to do a quick solo draft to pass the time or practice you certainly can. Every once in a while the program does not allow you to make a pic, but it is easily worked around by leaving the draft and then resuming it. The test most is decent, but is not extensive in any manner.

### 4/5 — Pretty good drafting app

*2014-09-23, version 2.1.1*

It's a good way to practice. The AI could use some tuning in that it's picks sometimes don't make sense but it's a great way to practice, learn a set and waste some time. I do think that the price is a bit too pricey per set. $3 a set is pretty steep though then let you buy a block for $6. Sadly, they don't let you pre-buy the block, you'll have to buy the block after the third set is released. Because Khans is going to be drafted by itself and then fate reforged/unnamed third set will be drafted by themselves it makes a late block buy unhelpful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — please fix the bug

*2020-01-04, version 2.5.1*

my phone is iphoneX ios11.4.1 it can't update database！the datebase version is always 78，when I updated，it doesn't work anyway！it is werid and I dkn't konw why！

### 1/5 — Obvious Cash Grab is Obvious.

*2018-10-02, version 2.5.1*

With that statement alone, it should be obvious these people just want your money. For a program that rarely works. Constant crashes, and with a crappy “AI” program that basically picks the worse choices.

### 1/5 — Paywall, 2.99-3.99 for each set, costing plenty

*2018-09-05, version 2.4.7*

Each set cost 2.99 to 3.99 to unlock. Want M19, got to pay. Want Dominaria, got to pay. Other apps available to use that are free or a cheaper 1 time payment, rather than pay every time a new set comes out with this junk app.

Stay away!

### 1/5 — Not the best

*2018-07-08, version 2.4.7*

All of the current drafts are held behind a paywall

### 1/5 — Dumb

*2016-08-24, version 2.2.3*

Completely ridiculous. They only give you sets that are obscenely out of date and charge you $3-5 for ONE SET!?!?!? I could understand if they did 3-5 for all the sets but spending 3-5 bucks PER SET is just ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Lame

*2016-06-01, version 2.2.3*

You have to pay for the expansions 3-5$👎🏽

### 1/5 — Seriously?

*2016-02-03, version 2.2.3*

So you're giving us an app that allows us to draft decks, but you're only giving us sets that are ridiculously out of date and forcing us to buy the others for $3-$5 per set? That is absolutely the dumbest idea ever.

### 1/5 — Needed to practice new sets

*2016-01-21, version 2.2.3*

This app wasn't really helpful I thought I would be drafting new sets but it gives me sets that are out of date to start off with which won't help me and not willing to pay money when Bestiaire.org is free and always up to date

### 1/5 — Too much for too little

*2014-09-29, version 2.1.1*

1. 2.99 per expansion is ridiculous.
2. Deck building- enjoy seeing you cards all in a single row? I don't.
3. Test run? No way to cast morphs face down, put counters on creatures...

GG Tj Soft.

### 1/5 — Bug on purchase restores

*2014-02-17, version 2.1.1*

This app has a bug on restoring purchased sets. Paid but cannot access content - beware

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great game

*2024-06-06, version 2.5.1*

Have been playing drafter for ages, its a cool game to play when as it doesnt need wifi. (But i have a problem as ive lost all card art and now my drafting only shows the back of a mtg card, not the card art of a shivan dragon etc)
Please help 😢

### 5/5 — 👏👏👏👏

*2018-07-01, version 2.4.7*

Great app, only lower the prices for buying sets. 5.49$ is a bit expensive only to Draft Amonkhet.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2015-12-30, version 2.2.3*

Just one recommendation, if you can add mtgo cube draft, I'll pay anything for it

### 5/5 — Simply Amazing!!!

*2015-05-22, version 2.1.1*

I have been a part of the Magic community since 96 and I am an avid drafter. This app is perfect for anyone who drafts or is looking to learn. The developer offers several blocks to get started drafting, for free! It is completely understandable to ask for money to draft other sets and the developer offers discounts on blocks! With me getting ready to crush MM2015 and any other set to come, this app is a MUST!! Major kudos to the developer and I hope you will continue to update this app :) many blessings!

### 5/5 — Unable to buy new sets atm

*2014-12-18, version 2.1.1*

Love the app, want to buy more sets but the links are not working. Take my money dammit!!

### 5/5 — Great practice

*2014-08-04, version 2.1.1*

The best drafter out there by far - the bots could be a bit more choosy about staying in colors, but the ability to playtest is invaluable.

### 5/5 — A great app for any magic drafter!

*2013-12-04, version 2.1.1*

I've had this app since the beginning, and I've loved it ever since. The is the cleanest drafting app I have ever used. It is so simple to use. I would highly recommend this to any magic player! Wouldn't mind seeing some older sets to be added! (Ravnica block) but overall 5/5!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Resource!

*2013-11-08, version 2.1.1*

Very impressed, great information and insight. Wish I would have had this before the Theros draft I had last weekend, would have handled it much differently.

### 5/5 — Testing interface fixed!

*2013-10-01, version 2.1.0*

Back to 5 stars after fixing all my complaints about the testing screen!

### 5/5 — Must have

*2013-09-06, version 2.0.2*

I usually play casual mtg, but this app has made me more interested in draft. Awesome app.
