## What is DeckForge?

DeckForge turns your phone into a Magic: The Gathering card scanner. Point the camera at a card and DeckForge names the exact printing, shows what it is worth right now, and files it into your collection — no typing, no searching.

SCANNING THAT EARNS YOUR TRUST
• Recognises a card in about a second, one after another
• Tells apart printings, promos and alternate artworks
• When two artworks look alike, it asks you to pick instead of guessing wrong
• Foils wear a ribbon, and double-faced cards flip to their back
• Sounds that follow the price: ordinary cards click, treasures go cha-ching

YOUR COLLECTION, ALWAYS PRICED
• Market prices for every card and foil you own, refreshed through the day
• A price history chart for every card
• Record each card's condition, from near mint to damaged
• See each card's other printings and what they sell for
• Binders, boxes and sets, each with its total value at a glance

DECKS, FROM WHAT YOU OWN
• Build Commander decks and see which cards you already have
• Pull & buy: the list of what a deck still needs
• Brewmaster builds a deck around your commander, at the power level you choose

MORE THAN THE PHONE
Your scans sync to your account, and everything you own is waiting for you on the DeckForge website — scan at the kitchen table, build decks at your desk.

DECKFORGE PLUS
An optional subscription lifts the limits for heavy collectors, including Brewmaster builds and longer price history. Everything else is free.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-16

Sell lists: pick the cards you want to sell, see what Card Kingdom pays today, and they are tagged for sale in your collection and decks until the sale is done. The sale itself finishes on the website. Card Kingdom's prices sit alongside the other shops. Plus fixes and polish.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-12

• The app tells you when fresh card data has landed, and Setup shows when it was downloaded.
• Stacked scans now ask whether all copies share a set or foil type, wherever a set or foil can be chosen.
• New "Everything here is one set" switch in Setup for scanning a single-set pile.
• The set symbol moved so the foil ribbon never covers it.
• Extended-art, borderless and showcase printings are recognised on their own.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-11

• Two cards with the same picture from different sets now land on their own rows, and the collector-number reader answers one copy at a time
• Choosing a set or foil for a stacked row first asks whether it applies to every copy
• New in Setup: "Everything here is one set", for a pile from a single set
• The set symbol on the card strip moved to the top-left, so the foil ribbon never covers it
• iPad: the card, deck and set screens are laid out for the wider screen, in both orientations
• Two-part cards show both mana costs
• The phone stays awake while you scan
• A website restart no longer shows up as a failed download
• Terms of Use and Privacy links in the DeckForge Plus window

### 1.0 — 2026-09-10
