Every item I scanned, it said it’s not accepting that title. ### 2/5 — WHAT HAPPENED?! *2024-07-16, version 70.0.331* This used to be a wonderful app for occasionally making a little dough selling some old cd’s, movies, and games. I’ve used it several times over the past 5 years maybe, including just a few weeks ago, and it was always great. Now, all the sudden tonight, I am trying to put together a batch of cd’s to send in, and almost none of them are scanning. I’ve got about 25 cd’s I’ve tried to scan tonight, and only few have scanned at all. 2 of them so far, are worth a little bit, most I have tried to scan repeatedly, and nothing is happening. I am very disappointed, after having such success with this app in the past. ☹️ I hope it will be fixed soon. ### 1/5 — SCAN NOT FUNCTIONING *2024-06-30, version 70.0.331* Declutt can you guys fix the scan, the previous version was perfect. And please do something about your worker Gonzalez every time that he recieved my order my qoute drops drastically. ### 1/5 — No Longer Functional *2024-06-27, version 70.0.331* This app and service no longer seem to work after their most recent update. First, the scanner will no longer scan barcodes. Second, when you manually enter the barcode it tells you to enter a “valid 13 digit barcode”. Can’t really do that when all the barcodes are 12 digits. And third, you’re never able to stay logged in. I’m constantly being logged out of my account. I think I’m done with this service unless changes are made. Ps: DECLUTTR you had one job send the money to the right place wth smh ### 1/5 — Scam *2024-04-07, version 40.9* This app has become a complete scam. Rates were always low, but that was understandable because they are buying to resell and margins on media are low. But now it's nothing but a scam. As soon as you scan 25 media items, everything thereafter scans at 1 cent per item. Clear your cart and rescan items in different order, then the items that scanned at 1 cent suddenly scan for more until you hit item 26. Then you're back at 1 cent again. As a result, it can take 100s of items to hit the $5 minimum sale. Stay away from this scam. ### 1/5 — This is a ripoff *2024-02-29, version 40.9* Sent in about 70 cds and dvds a few months ago. I received confirmation that they had arrived at the warehouse but never received payment or further information as to when payment would be processed. The info on the app only shows your order number, no links to follow up. Granted, it was only a few dollars, but not worth the effort to scan numerous items, pack them and take to post office. ### 1/5 — This app is a joke!!! *2024-02-29, version 40.9* Scanned steelbook Blu Ray and DVD combos that are for collectors and only getting .15 cent offer. Yea no thanks!!! ### 1/5 — Shady business *2024-01-26, version 40.9* Stated several times that a dvd was missing in shipment so they didn’t have to pay. Even said they sent a payment when they didn’t and I had to provide copies of my bank statement in order to receive payment. Not to mention they only offer less then a dollar for almost and thing you sell them so for 35 dvds some not even opened and still in wrapper I got less then $8 after I had to prove they didn’t pay me by sending bank statements. They will definitely reduce the price or say the item is missing, when you know it wasn’t. ### 1/5 — Avoid *2024-01-23, version 40.9* These guys are a scam. Sent them a really nice Mac in perfect shape and somehow they ended up cracking the screen and giving me nothing for it. Blaming me for poor packaging. Customer service is non existent. Please avoid them, complete scam. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2024-01-15, version 40.9* I scanned about 20 CDs and decided to stop. This app did not recognize half of them. For the other half , each CD worths about 19 cents each. ### 1/5 — App is a Scam *2024-01-09, version 40.9* This app is a scam. I sent in two boxes of DVD’s for money. They claimed that I was missing half the DVD’s, which was impossible. They even confirmed they received both boxes. After going back and forth with them, they told me that they needed tracking so they could file a lost package with UPS. If you need more proof not to use this app, just look them up on Reddit. Apple needs to remove this app. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time… *2023-12-23, version 40.9* You’ll spend far more time doing this than it’s worth. They pay literally pennies for most movies. Packed them, set everything up, and then found absolutely no way to download the shipping label. Went to the help section, but it’s just a bunch of poorly written, FAQs with no answer and no way to contact them. The app is a disaster. Total waste of time. I was gonna sell my old iPhones to them as well, but will look for another service, and the DVDs are going to Goodwill. Decluttr is impossible to use and a joke. ### 1/5 — Shipping label issues *2025-01-14, version 70.0.367* Disgusting zen desk service. After maybe 20 different messages still unable to generate a shipping label . Just kept telling me try new browser have you got latest app etc etc !! Apparently they cannot just email you a shipping label. It is now July 13 2024 and i have not been paid. They use the same excuse as mentioned in the other review that the package was missing items but i know this is untrue. They have completely ignored my requests for tech help. They don’t take everything, but it’s fast and easy to do… knocked down my collection by half! It’s great and I recommend it to everyone. One day I’ll actually read what happens after the products are received. The amounts are small, but once you start you’ll be scanning everything. After looking at numerous competitors Decluttr has the most streamlined process. Scan your items you want to sell with their app, find a box, print your label that they provide, leave it at your nearest UPS store and boom your done! They offered the most for my iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, and blu rays so I can’t complain. Definitely recommend using Decluttr! ! ### 5/5 — Excellent start to finish *2020-11-04* On receipt of my new iPhone 12 pro on 24th October I set about looking for the best price for my old 8 plus. I certainly wasn’t going to try and sell it on eBay with all the risks that entails. So I tried Decluttr. I first got a price for my 8 plus using the very easy to use Decluttr app. The price offered was substantially more than Xfinity or Apple. I accepted the price. Opened a Decluttr account with option to have sale monies paid into my bank account. I then printed the free shipping label. Took it to UPS and waited, I used the tracking service available. On Wednesday 28th tracking advised my phone had been delivered to Decluttr. On Friday 30th I received an email from Decluttr to confirm receipt and that my phone was being checked by their tech department to confirm that it was what I said it was. Saturday 31st I received an email confirming all was good and that the payment monies would be in my bank account within three business days. Wednesday 4th November ..... monies received. The whole process was ridiculously simple, highly efficient and very quick. Two of my relatives are now selling their old iPhones this way too. The great things about this service is that it’s free for shipping, easy to use, good price paid, very quick and peace of mind that you’re not having to deal with some idiot trying to scam you ! ### 5/5 — Extremely helpful and easy to use! *2020-08-27, version 35.9* We were overwhelmed by the number of DVDs we found during our decluttering project! They say next day payment(which I understand means we’ll send your money the next day it could take 3 days after that) ok that’s cool they wait almost an entire week after the initial week of me sending in my items and lying and saying my iPhone 6 was faulty and lowering my price by 50 dollars for some reason when It was originally 30 and went to 10 dollars I messaged about that no response at all completely ignored me but answered later for my payment inquiry ### 5/5 — BEST OF THEM ALL *2020-06-08* I have tried several tech mail-in apps/companies and Decluttr was my best experience yet!! I am an avid eBay seller, yet I did my research & the quote I received from Decluttr was on-point with current iPhone XS sales trends so i decided to save myself the hassle & send mine in. I even found a promo for an extra 10% for my first sale! To the negative reviewers: CALL your cellular provider or Apple to make sure ur imei is clear!! They can also unlock ur device & u can get extra cash!! FOLLOW ALL steps prior to sending in any tech & make sure u read everything. It’s not that hard. DONT expect to be paid out top $ just bc u clicked perfect condition. If u know u dropped it in water that one time but got lucky... dont be surprised when you are provided a lower offer once a device has been inspected!! Send your items in a TIMELY manner. The world of tech changes by the minute!! Obtain your offer the day you send your tech that way there should be no monetary disputes as long as everyone is HONEST. I have had companies cheat me & steal from me. Everything is very easy and they are very helpful. I have used Decluttr two times and just sent my third box of items. The first two times were great it’s a can be a little slow with the items being accepted but, I think it is worth it. I have received full payment both times I’ve sent items of mine. Sometimes if you send in a tech item and say it’s in good condition they might reduce it to poor but it’s probably reasonable and worth it. It’s by far the easiest and best app to sell things on. I am amazed at how much I have been able to send to them and receive payment for! Books, CDs, video games, phone, you name it! My home is being de cluttered, I don’t have to rely on tag sales to try to recoup something for items, and the app is so easy to use! There are also options for payment including check, direct deposit, and PayPal. You get paid within a day of them checking in your stuff. What could be easier? Just add items to your basket, when you are done you can print out a shipping label and drop off at UPS.
