## What is Decree.om?

Decree.om is Oman’s biggest and most comprehensive legal database. The Decree.om app provides easy access to Decree Lex AI, Decree’s state-of-the-art artificial intelligence research assistant for Omani legislation.
Please note that using Decree.om app requires a corporate subscription to Decree.om.

### 3.6.0 — 2026-09-21

Ready for iPhone Duo, and better on iPad.

• Decree now adapts to any screen width. Fold or unfold an iPhone Duo, or resize the window on iPad, without losing your place in a conversation or a law.
• The document reader's controls sit in a proper toolbar, clear of the camera and window controls.
• Sign-in code entry fits narrower screens.
• Fixes for the Arabic menu on foldable displays.

### 3.5.1 — 2026-09-09

• Fixed: in Arabic, the side menu no longer leaves a strip covering the left edge of the screen when it is closed.
• Fixed: the badge showing answers still in progress now appears next to the menu button in Arabic.

### 3.5.0 — 2026-09-05

• Links in Lex answers now open the law directly in the app.
• Answers show headings, lists, quotes and tables properly, including conversations started on decree.om.
• An "Outdated" status now flags a decree whose text has been superseded by a consolidated version, in the document view and in Connections.
• Your recent conversations no longer appear empty while they load.

### 3.4.0 — 2026-08-24

• Dictate your question: hold the microphone to record and release to stop, or tap once to keep recording hands-free. A live waveform shows Lex is listening.
• Stop Lex mid-answer: a Stop button replaces Send while an answer is being prepared, and sending a new question replaces the one in progress.
• Advanced legislation search: filter by title only, year range and sort order from the Browse Legislation search bar. Exact phrases in quotes are now matched.
• Opening the app no longer interrupts music playing in other apps.
• Arabic throughout for all of the above.

### 3.3.0 — 2026-08-21

Legislation is now connected: tap any law or decree cited inside a document to open it instantly, footnotes jump in place, and Back retraces your trail.

• Documents open faster everywhere, with a clean loading preview
• Connections: long lists of related legislation can load more on demand
• New search button on the home screen for going straight to a specific law
• Smoother reading while answers are being written
• Refined menus, loading states and spacing throughout
