Often when you are with clients this platform becomes major distraction through excessive question s and long upload times. ### 2/5 — Update gating *2026-07-09, version 3.1.1* Whilst the general ui feel is ok, having the need to update every time i open it feels ridiculous and excessive, especially when its for minor fixes ### 1/5 — Shockingly poor performance and signed me up to marketing messages from Deel. *2026-07-09, version 3.1.1* App does not load my details to show my payslips, or does not load payslips or notifications. Hugely inconsistent performance for if you’ll be able to actually view your important documents. Everyone at the company I work for also received a marketing email about gambling sweepstakes that we had not signed up for. ### 1/5 — Expenses line item only *2026-07-03, version 3.0.1* No option to submit or approve expenses in report form. Approving a 30 line item expense reports one line item at a time is tedious and absurd. Now imagine you have ten resources submitting expenses monthly. Ridiculous. Years behind their expense app design competitors. ### 1/5 — Impossible to reach *2026-07-02, version 3.0.0* I work for a Korean company without a US entity. Deel functions as my EOR. I have had several issues with benefits and payments. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone at Deel to discuss these discrepancies. Deel's AI indicates "An agent usually replies within 2 minutes". I have spent 35 waiting for such a response before giving up. Phone messages are not responded to. I would never recommend this company to anyone, other than a competitor. Edit: after writing this review, I tried, yet again, to reach out to Deel to resolve this matter. After explaining the situation to Deel's AI I was informed I would be connected to an agent, and the average wait time is 2 minutes. I waited ONE AND ONE HALF HOURS before and agent responded. I explained the entire situation yet again. I was informed I would receive an email within one business day, which I did. The request from the email was to explain the situation yet again. I replied to the email with the entire scenario, only to receive a response stating the email address is not monitored. Also in the email, Mario said I can click on a link provided in the email to connect with him (he claims to be a supervisor) directly. So I did. Instead of connecting with Mario, the meeting is scheduled with Swedene, to whom I will most certainly be starting from scratch. This place is the least customer focused business with whom I've ever interacted and no one should ever do business with Deel. ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-06-27, version 3.0.0* Awful and often practically unusable. Issues accessing payslips every month. Whatever the opposite of intuitive is, is what this app is. Data privacy issues with personal data being used in ways I did not agree to. Trying to force me into providing a phone number just to access my payslip. No thankyou! We have all had nothing but problems since our employer moved to Deel for payslips and I hope they move away from them as soon as possible. ### 1/5 — Awful app, awful payment provider *2026-06-25, version 3.0.0* Honestly an awful app, it can take 5 minutes to load, is abysmally slow, and the format and layout of the payslips change every month. Since my employer switched to Deel, I’ve also experienced late pension payments and other payment issues. Also, it’s very suspect how all of the apps 5 start reviews are a year or more old, and there’s no more recent reviews apart from a few highly negative ones… are the developers trying to hide bad reviews? ### 1/5 — Could be a web app *2026-06-23, version 3.0.0* Idk why i need this as an app to clutter my phone. ### 2/5 — Awful update *2026-06-23, version 3.0.0* Awful update! Simple things have become much more complicated. It was really frustrating. The closing part of the process took me more than two weeks and also cost me $$$$. Do not recommend ### 1/5 — Just loads *2026-06-03, version 3.0.0* Always the loading screen. I updated, removed the app and reinstalled. I’m now the proud owner of a 20 minute loading screen. Why does it need internet for basic UI, and then when it has internet does nothing? How is it that you can have an app every time you go to use it, it needs to be updated? Even if you're using it weekly, you have to update it before you can log in. It's so annoying….. and to make that 10 times worse, if you're using the Deel app on the desktop, whenever you try and log in, it tells you to authenticate on the app. You go to the app, and it tells you need to update before you can authenticate!!!! Aarrgghhh - How frustrating! It's the worst user experience EVER! ### 1/5 — Is this even a legitimate app? *2026-08-19, version 3.1.8* Can’t log in. When you try to contact support both of the support options are broken. And there’s no way to talk to anyone other than a poorly configured ai. ### 1/5 — Contractors Beware *2026-08-13, version 3.1.7* Deel will find a reason to block you from getting the funds you rightfully earned and were transferred to them to pay you. It’s my second app update in the short time I’ve used it. Has so many performance issues where it will keep on loading on a page you were able to access a few hours before. Also had issues with payslips where amount was incorrect. Atari did a better job of the E.T. Game. After being forced onto this raging turd of a platform when they acquire the EoR we were happy with, every single interaction or login over the past few months has felt like a kafkaesque torture, specifically designed by a malevolent god to drive me into an insane dementia. I hate Deel more than anything in my life. I wish the business nothing but pure failure and demise. Hatefulness drips from every single letter of code. The contracts are generic and inflexible. The Charges are obscene. The currency usage is idiotic. The fx rates are disgusting profiteering. The cut off dates for adjustments are too early and the customer experience people don’t even know them. The user interface is an insult to users and never fit Ona single screen. The only reason this business has had any success is they rip of well funded tech companies after being vastly funded by a small cohort of the most powerful tech VCs. I hope it causes a financial crisis on its own.
