Too grindy towards the end of the plot and a lot of the music can be hit or miss depending on ur taste but just super fun

This was my childhood game that I would play in the car on long trips and is the game that started my love for rhythm games and made me want to continue playing violin and pursue music. Now here I am 11 years later and still holding onto that same passion. I owe so much to this game, thank you Deemo for bringing music into my life for the first time.

Why? I gotta set my iPad brightness at max just to see the notes, the black moving background is not ok at all, and the notes white outline makes it even harder to keep up with the flow as they blend with the also white lower half of the background. Please give us a better optional background like those from deemo II

C’est un jeu de rythme avec une histoire vraiment intéressante que l’on découvre petit à petit, à force de terminer des chansons.
Ou plus vous jouez ou plus vous terminer de musique au plus histoire avant si vous en apprenez sur le lieu et les personnages qui vous entourent.
Les musiques sont vraiment agréables il y en a pour tous les goûts

Played this game years ago in high school and loved it enough to buy several books.
Years and two new phones later and now that I have redownloaded it and try to restore my purchases nothing happened. I could not play any of the songs I purchased years ago, and I won’t support a scam of a company.

Also they fired their artists and use A.I. art. Pathetic. How long until the music is A.I. generated too?

I bought this game years ago and have loved playing it, but I’m very disappointed that Rayark is switching to using AI for their art instead of hiring artists. The beautiful artwork of the game is a large part of what makes it so good, this shows no respect to the artists that made this game successful. I considered buying the sequel or more songs, but I will not be doing so if all of it is created by AI so that the company can cut costs and replace good art with cheap imitation

Loved “Deemo” to death, hadn’t found the time to get into the sequel. But hearing that the company fired humans to replace their hard work on the game’s beautiful art with “AI” art has soured my memories of the first game and destroyed my interest in the second. When all artists are out of work, who will the “AI” steal from to produce its inferior junk art, have you considered that? Hire back your human artists and PAY THEM PROPERLY.

(VERY) old previous review: I love this game and even though I've had it for months and have gotten full combos on most easy/normal tracks, I keep going back to favorite songs again and again - not trying to improve my score, just for the fun of playing and listening to them. But I want to find out what happens next, so please add more to the story! :)

I just bought the game but it keeps telling me I need to restore my purchase, but there isn’t a way to do it, it’s already downloaded and I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Total waste of money and time trying to get this to work. Not to mention that even before I got the game running it was stuck on a loading screen.

言うまでもなく、素晴らしいゲームです。ゲーム内容については他の方のレビューで全て語られています。
その上で。現在、昔起こっていた無限ロードバグの強化版のようなものが発生しています。

**iOS26.4にアップデートされた端末では、GameCenterにサインインした状態かつクラウドセーブONの状態でゲームを起動すると、「loading」の画面のまま先に進まなくなります。**
対処法は、現時点では本体の設定からGameCenter、サインアウトするしかありません。なので、クラウドセーブは封じられた状態にあります。

対応されるのを待ちたいところですが、ずいぶん昔のゲームなので難しいかもしれません。起動できなくて困っている方は、GameCenterからサインアウトして起動すれば直るかと思います。

黄色ノーツが繋がりにくいところ以外不満はありません。

2025/10/5追記
iPad mini 2(iOS12.5.7)に2年ぶりのアップデート(バージョン5.0.8)が降ってきて、アプリ起動不可になりました。
古い機種なのでサポートされなくなるのは仕方ないですが、せめてアップデート配信の対象から外して、起動可能な状態を最終バージョンとして欲しかったです。

2025/12/16追記
バックアップからアプリのバージョンを5.0.6に戻すと起動しました。
互換性情報にはiOS11以降と表記されていますが、少なくともiOS12において最新バージョンは起動不可です。新規購入やアップデートをご検討で該当する方は(居ないと思いますが……)ご注意ください。

from time to time I had played games in the App Store that were simple rhythm games with generic pop music with press the tiles or follow the ball, but when I played this game for the first time around 2013/2014, and took years to beat it, it not only grew on me in such a short amount of time, the heartbreaking story and beautiful art as well as music, not only change my music taste, but love for this game, as it remains as one of my favorites to this day, and most definitely one of the best rhythm games (at least story wise) made to this day. A truly unique and memorable experience I’ll never forget nor regret. It’s soundtrack I hold extremely close personally.
