By joining Deemples you become a guest to golf clubs and play a round. Don’t need to find a member to invite you in. Some of the golf clubs also organize games for Deemples members. I put in all my info to create an account and couldn’t get pass the verification code. It required verification by phone number. Never received a text. But did get a welcome email. Even if you have a small group of regular golfers, you may post your game on the app and meet other keen players and grow your group. It also has a unique way of maintaining the handicap system, whereby your fellow golfers must enter your adjusted handicap score, and you enter theirs after your round. Since at least two other players in your flight should enter your score, this is an attempt to make for the fairest handicap system in the region. At the beginning this may seem like a bit of a hassle, but opens up possibilities for monthly online medals as well as just having fairer competition.
