Always feel safe when leaving on trip. App could use some updates. Integration into HomeKit would be nice. App also takes over audio/video. Can’t see live video in PIP or watch or listen to anything overlaying live video feed. App needs to allow normal multitasking. ### 4/5 — Excellent Security, But Room for Improvement *2025-03-28* I signed up for a security system three years ago, but what I really got was true peace of mind. Whether I’m out of town or fast asleep, I never worry because I know the guards are always watching. While the app hasn’t changed much over the years, and there’s room for improvement, I’m excited to see how the company evolves with advancing technology. Want real security and peace of mind? I can play back but no live view Support is able to live view on their end but I can’t Don’t know what problem is ### 2/5 — Good concept, bad app *2023-09-10* I was one of the original preorders for this product. It’s been an invaluable addition to the house’s security. My issue is when we do yard work, we like to put it in privacy and privacy never stays connected for more than 30 seconds. It’s visible but does not function or randomly will work. This force a reboot of the app to get back to the home page. Sad such a simple element failing to work can be so frustrating. ### 1/5 — App is STILL Terrible *2023-06-28* In the review I submitted a few months ago (which, I might add, has been taken down!) I talked about a few problems with the app. Some of those were fixed, some were not. Now the app doesn’t fit on my screen properly. I can’t turn on privacy or choose filters because those buttons are mostly off the screen. I am getting alerts every few minutes for no reason, on all cameras. We have reset hub, reinstalled the app & nothing seems to work. The most worrisome problem is not getting true alerts in a timely manner! My mom pulled up in my driveway (which is monitored), walked up my sidewalk (monitored), to my front door (monitored), unlocked it, went inside & called me to let me know she was there to pick something up. I NEVER got a single notification until after she called me! This service has severely gone downhill. We are one of the earliest customers & we get the most terrible service. Please fix the problems!! This used to be such a great system & made me feel safe. I really feel like we would be better off with blink cameras at this point. Much cheaper & much faster notification. Send me a number ### 1/5 — Awful App & Service *2025-12-12* We are one of the original customers and I can assure you greed and outsourcing has obliterated the integrity of this service. They will not do anything to help us with faulty equipment unless we pay 300% more than what we’re paying now. That is NOT an exaggeration, I promise! We have been working on remedying the problem and the only time we can talk with a representative is AFTER 8 pm. There are no normal business hours for US customers. Then there’s this horrible app! It will not play back video, there is just a spinning wheel, then a message that the video is not ready yet…a video from TEN hours ago! How on earth is it not ready yet?!! And that message pops up for ALL videos! You can not connect (live) to a camera in a timely manner - it takes 30 seconds in some instances! I’m not sure where the disconnect is - the app or the service, but either way it’s unacceptable. Please do yourself a favor & choose a different service! This one has unfortunately turned to complete garbage. And when I say unfortunately - I mean it because when we first got our system, it was the absolute best, top of the line. As a result, I decided to cancel my service. I strongly advise against doing business with this company. ### 1/5 — Great concept - app needs help *2024-04-12* Legacy customer here. I’m supposed to rate the app only but despite being promised my rates would never change, they are 300% higher now. I didn’t even upgrade to their new DS2 hardware to avoid the new pricing but guess I got hit with it anyway. The app is very basic. The push alerts are helpful… but sorting event history isn’t straightforward. Also, there is often a lag or incomplete data / video in the app. I’m told it is “syncing” with their cloud server and will be available shortly. It sometimes never shows up even though I’m supposed to be able to access the video locally. I’ve never been able to. The app supports iOS 17 but it’s lacking a lot of features that other apps have. If they didn’t have live security guard monitoring, not sure I’d use the service. ### 1/5 — 400% rate increase and data open to everyone *2024-03-27* I was one of the legacy customers who were promised our rates would never increase. Well got a call my rate would increase by over 400%. Also while browsing the website I had access to all the customer service messages with everyone personal information including name address and safe words. Not sure who else had access but seems like the company is doing their best to not tell you about it. ### 1/5 — App is horrific *2024-01-11, version 1.9.4.26* Just signed up great concept and works ok however this app is trash. Gives the wrong battery life, offline when it’s not, private mode is hit or miss, going back requires luck. The functions of this app are trash. Great product to a degree camera quality is poor and battery life is trash. The cameras also do not work accurately and consistently. ### 1/5 — FIX THIS APP *2023-12-20* YOU PEOPLE NEED TO FIX THIS APP. IT HAS BEEN MESSED UP FOR MONTHS. The app does NOT fit the screen & you can not tap the menus or choices that show up in the corners & edges of the app. I have made reviews before & they GET DELETED! I am NOT the only one who has complained about this. I’ve seen several other bad reviews but miraculously can’t find them either. On top of the app, the service has been dwindling too. I had some weirdo standing at my front door & milling around my porch for several minutes & no guards intervened, but they called me when I was putting up Christmas lights after my timer on “Privacy” ran out. I’ve had a weirdo walking through my back yard at 1am - no intervention there either! We are not getting notifications until well over a minute after the cameras have been set off. What are we paying for?!!!!!! DO BETTER! I happen to have BOTH the “Business” and “Home” apps for Deep Sentinel and they have the same problems! ### 1/5 — Still a Terrible App, System is Decent *2023-09-06* First, I want to say - the monitoring system is great & I truly appreciate the guards watching over our property 24/7!! But, the app does not properly fit on iPhone 14. You can not access certain features and it’s been like this for months. PLEASE FIX IT! Also, the developer must be erasing reviews because my TWO previous reviews are no longer available to read. The price and service is definitely not comparable to standard cameras but quite frankly due to the lev of service they offer. The appItself has been developing over the years which is understandable and has greatly improved. Given my phones software is always up to date which greatly helps. We’ve had some car break-ins recently and it’s not to have have to feel worried every night. The app is straight forward, intuitive and easy to use. It works well and we even get notified if a package gets dropped off.
