Notes have noticeable attack lag and b and c keys on right side do not play. Would be fun if it were usable. Edit and three more stars. Must have been something iPadOS did, have had screwy problems since 14.3. I hate writing bad reviews and this one turned out to be unjustified. Everything works normally, lacks one star due to slider placement. ### 2/5 — Not worth the money!! *2019-08-25* Its not necessarily that this synth is bad (its okay, quite lacking) however there are so many other synths on this Appstore that are just as expensive or even cheaper than this app that have so much more capability. DXI is a great FM synth for example. The price of this app needs to come down significantly or a lot needs to be added to justify the price ### 4/5 — Simple but Unique *2017-05-05* This is an interesting synth. It has a different take on FM and wavetable synthesis than most others on iOS. I do compliment its simplicity with the great tones I am getting. One star knocked off due to not being any deeper than the name implies, with more modifiable parameters and such. Yet it has a place on my iDevices. ### 3/5 — Not FM synthesis, but fun making waveforms *2017-02-24* Unless there is something going on under the hood that actually modulates these waves at some control rate faster than you can move one of the wave-forming dots around with your finger, there is nothing like Frequency Modulation driving this synthesizer. What it is: a single waveform synthesizer that lets you customize the wave itself, in finger-dragging time. Useful if you like to noodle with this sort of thing, although the controls are imprecise at first: the dots are more like force fields than line connectors. Most of the waveforms will not simply be drawn from dot to dot. But that is a good thing, because it allows you to draw more interesting waves than would be possible with five sample points. Not a bad toy, but not a new FM synthesizer either, so... *shrug* **Developer response:** There are lots of things going on. Every peak can "vibrate".
