I have a really old ipad which stopped updating at IOS 10.3.3 and it works on that, (when it feels like it), via a usb lead, but is slow and sometimes crashes.. The PC version of the app seems to work too, but again only with a direct connection via usb. Its a damn shame as it does make the creation of patches and sequencing very much easier and intuitive. The patch morpher is also unique and opens up the DM12 to new possibilities. Its extremely cynical of behringer to still be touting the IOS app as part of its advertising for the DM12 when they are failing to update this most useful of tools to work on the very ipads most people now have in their possession. TLDR:- Abandoned, don't bother unless you have an old ipad. (if you have, yeah get it, and have fun. EDIT:- Woohoo!! it has been updated. (NOW you get your 5 stars). Schade, denn der Editor war super, inkl. dem Patch-Management.
