## What is DeepStateMap?

DeepStateMap.Live is an interactive online map of the hostilities in Ukraine that allows you to follow the course of military operations in the Russian-Ukrainian war, the location of units and their movements.

The application supports the possibility of caching downloaded data.

The map has symbols:
territory of Ukraine liberated from occupation in the last two weeks;
liberated territory;
territory that needs to be clarified;
territory occupied by Russian troops;
territory of the occupied Crimea and ORDLO;
territory of Transnistria;
unit;
headquarters;
airfields;
fleet;
directions of attacks.

The territory is divided into zones, which are colored accordingly, and the locations of units and airfields are marked. The site also has a news feed and the ability to measure distances between points on the map. The site allows to enable the display of fire points based on data from the NASA Firms system and compare them with the front line. A special mode makes it possible to measure the range of various artillery systems: HIMARS, M777, CAESAR, etc. along the entire front line.

This app is a miracle. Not only does it deliver reliable frontline updates daily (sure it’s pro Ukraine but so am I and every sane person on this planet). With this map, you can see enemy troop concentrations, airfields, attack directions, division headquarters. You can also rewind the time back to April 2022 and even draw and measure distances. As mentioned, there are daily commented updates regarding the frontline changes, which are all based on verified geolocalized battles and sightings, as far as I checked. Even though it’s pro Ukraine it’s not spreading propaganda and even calling out and depicting the recent breakthrough of the orcs east of Dobropilia. You can use either a map or a satellite design. And the devs are frequently upgrading the tools, as of 20.11.2025 there is a new update adding a statistic tool showing how many soldiers, tanks, drones etc have been neutralized in different timespans (respect for that).

In short, if you want to inform yourself correctly about this war, use this app. It’s way more accurate than pro Russian propaganda maps like rybar etc.

Ich kann schauen dass das Ostpreußische Land und die Nordinseln Japans rot makiert und als von Russland besetzte Territorien eingezeichnet werden. Das ist gut aber Bitte auch Karafuto (Südliche Sahalin-Halbinsel) und die äussere Mandschurei ebenfalls markieren die waren auch an den Aggressoren abgetreten danke schön slava Ukraine
