### 5/5 — Clever and Versatile

★★★★★

I’ve actually used Deescalate in real life, and it works. I’ve used it to rethink messages to my business partner when I knew what I wanted to say but perhaps not the most productive way to say it. I’ve also used it with my mother, who is a recovering Republican, which may be the ultimate stress test for any communication app.

What I like is that it doesn’t turn what you’re saying into bland corporate-speak or make you sound like a therapist. It keeps the point intact while taking out the part most likely to start a completely unnecessary war. It’s clever, genuinely useful, and one of those apps that solves a problem you didn’t realize could actually be solved by an app. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

For everyone and anyone

### 5/5 — Lifesaver app!

I use this app constantly!! It is incredibly useful. Text and email are the worst, because you can't hear how someone's saying it. ‘Between’ helps me say what I actually mean before I hit send — and my favorite part, I paste in messages I can't interpret and it shows me what else the person could have meant. Nine times out of ten they weren't being short with me at all. Fantastic app, 5 stars, will recommend.

### 5/5 — Good for avoidant types

I’m avoidant and this really helps me get my thoughts out. Love it!!!
