## What is DefectPass?

Taking delivery of a new flat, accepting a renovation, or checking a tradesman's work? DefectPass turns what you see into a numbered defect report the developer or contractor has to answer.

PHOTOGRAPH — THE REST WRITES ITSELF
Point the camera at the defect. The app describes it from the photo the way a defect report would, gives it a number, a room, a date and a severity. You keep walking.

THE WALK-THROUGH TELLS YOU WHAT TO CHECK
71 checks across 7 zones of a flat, from the front door to the balcony: what to look at, how, and which standard applies. Run the water for a full minute. Look at the floor against the light. Tap the tiles. The reason people hire an inspector is not that they cannot describe a defect — it is that they do not know what to check.

THE REPORT BUILDS ITSELF
Every defect lands in a PDF with its number, photo, room, severity and date. Open it or send it at any moment, in any of 13 languages — or two at once, yours and the developer's. Numbers stay the same across revisions, so "06 is fixed" means the same thing to everyone a month later.

ASK ABOUT YOUR FLAT
The assistant answers from your own list: how serious a defect is, what to demand, how to word the claim, how to fix it so it does not come back. Not from the internet — from your photos.

WORKS WHERE THERE IS NO SIGNAL
Shoot in the basement or on site; it syncs when the network is back.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-05

• Try it without signing up: a demo flat with defects and a finished report opens straight away. You only need an account to keep your flat or download your own PDF — everything you did comes with you.
• The report follows the app's language, and defect descriptions are translated automatically.
• Clearer one-time purchase terms.
• Fixes and speed-ups.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-23

Circle the defect on the photo. After you take a picture, tap where the problem is and a ring marks the spot. Drag to move it, pinch to resize. The mark goes into the PDF report and everywhere else the photo is shown.
