I have a non-Bluetooth timer so now have to look for an older iPhone with the software as I’m trading in my iPhone13 for credit. ### 1/5 — Not working *2026-01-11, version 1.2.31* Not working ### 1/5 — No longer works *2026-01-10, version 1.2.31* This app used to work fine, but now it doesn’t and shuts down during setup so it’s impossible to add a new light after deleting the one as suggested in their troubleshooting. They seem to not care in a fix since they have ignored this issue for quite some time. Don’t bother with home depot brands. Buy brands who stand behind their equipment. If you can’t, or refuse to support your products, then at least make the software Open Source so we can possibly still use the timers we purchased. ### 1/5 — Defiant obsolete *2025-10-14, version 1.2.31* Once you update your phone, your Defiant app becomes obsolete. A waste of money. I don’t have access to older app so what am I supposed to do now, buy a whole new timer? What a waste. Nice thinking about your customers. It isn’t great but did let me find and control my floodlight via Bluetooth. ### 1/5 — Not compatible with older timers *2025-08-17, version 1.2.31* The new app does not work on older timers. Please update the app or bring back the old app in the Apple Store. ### 1/5 — Should be illegal *2025-07-28, version 1.2.31* I have multiple non-Bluetooth automated switches from these people and apparently, they discontinued the old app and this one doesn’t support it. So, they made them unusable.
