Unfortunately it is becoming steadily more unreliable with duplicate contacts and categories appearing for no apparent reason. Every call to Premium Support is unhelpful and usually ends with the problems being somehow my fault. The same unhelpful person has responded to every Premium Support Quickticket request for more than a year. What has happened? If there was an obvious replacement for Deja Office I would change to a different app immediately. ### 4/5 — Does not recognize home WiFi after moving from iPhone 7 to iPhone 14 *2023-02-11, version 2.10.17* I migrated from iPhone 7 to iPhone 14 and set up Dejaoffice to sync with my PC over home WiFi just as it was on my old phone. But unfortunately Dejaoffice does not see my new phone IP address even though it sees the network name (SSID). As a result, when I try to initiate the sync from my phone, it errors out with error “WiFi connection not available”. I cannot initiate sync from my phone. This is odd compared to my old phone on which Dejaoffice used to see the IP and allowed me to initiate the sync from my phone. Currently with Dejaoffice on my new phone I can initiate the sync only from my PC after pairing the phone manually on the PC. Now I use Apple devices. I would love to use it more extensively on my iPad, but I find the fonts are so small, that it’s actually easier to read on my iPhone then it is on my iPad. please add larger fonts for larger screen devices. Thank you ### 4/5 — Low memory *2022-02-08, version 2.10.2* How do I clear this so I don’t keep getting this message ### 2/5 — Unilaterally changes settings *2022-02-07, version 2.10.2* I use this primarily to synchronise Outlook notes and tasks. I find that it suddenly stops syncing, because it changes the settings of "sync with Apple Reminders" from On to Off. Every time I changed it back to On, it changes itself back to Off. Can only remedy it by uninstalling and reinstalling. It's very frustrating. ### 4/5 — A good app considering they have to deal with Microsoft *2021-09-13, version 2.9.9* Although I have had some issues with this app, to be fair, they have been caused by interfacing with other programs such as iCloud and Outlook and I am not convinced the fault lies totally with this app, which is the little guy. When I had the app working properly, it performed very well. One aspect of the app’s performance that particularly impressed me was this; Outlook when working with IMAP protocol emails will not allow categorisation of calendar entries, for reasons that completely escape me. By categorisation, I mean colouring appointments in your calendar so, for example, if you coloured your medical appointments red, you could see those appointments easily. When I used DejaOffice on my iPhone and synced it to Outlook on my laptop by using Companionlink Express, I found I could categorise my calendar entries as I wished and when I synced them to Outlook, the categories came with the entries. DejaOffice 1, Microsoft nil. ### 2/5 — No Longer A Fan *2021-08-16, version 2.9.8* This was an easy-to-install and easy-to-use APP for 3-4 years……and then it wasn’t. I got a new phone (same operating system) and could not make it function after spending countless hours working on it. A product is only as good as the tech support and, after trying repeatedly to communicate with them with little to NO response (finally) I gave up. It is a critical feature of the app. Please fix this ### 4/5 — Changes in settings *2020-12-17, version 2.8.6* Later, same day: the plus sign disappeared again. Now, I switch the Use Classic Edit from yes to no and back again and get a flash of a plus sign that then disappears. I really need to use my app! Please fix! Edited December 17, 2020. Same issue with inability to edit/add to memos, but this time I had to change Use Classic Edit View from yes to no. The ability to add memos, tasks, etc. disappeared (no plus sign). Only calendar had the ability to add item. Just about to right irritated review when I thought to check settings. Once I changed general settings, Use Classic Edit View from no to yes, the plus sign and ability to add items was restored. ### 2/5 — Iphone 11 *2020-09-28, version 2.8.0* Not near as good as the android version. Lose s information during the entry particularly on the calendar. Requires a workaround they even make it work on a iPhone. The iPhone version is an incomplete App. ### 3/5 — Pretty good overall...but *2020-09-07, version 2.8.0* With the update of 2.8, a couple of issues. 1. In calendar when I save the new calendar item, the app force quits. The new item is saved. 2. I have labeled colored items, e.g., Red="CEO Meeting". In order to have the Red show I have to select a color that is two levels BELOW Red? ### 2/5 — Memos *2020-08-31, version 2.7.8* I use this program for my memos, and I periodically need to amend/add to my memos. When I select edit to add to my memos, the program will not allow my cursor to go to the very last word that I typed so that I can continue adding to my memo. I have been using this program for a few years. In the beginning it work well, but now this problem has gotten so bad that I’m looking for a different program. The good thing is it can be backed up to Outlook. ### 2/5 — Not good anymore *2020-08-13, version 2.7.7* It used to work pretty well but now it's not allowing me to edit calendar events and when I add a category to a name it adds a different one... (it also shows all my contacts without categories and then with them). It's driving me crazy! New version, same issues. Arreglar por favor ### 4/5 — My go to. *2020-07-11, version 2.7.4* I’ve used this app for years and wouldn’t change it for the world. It fits my needs completely. I have only two complaints. The first is the backup. It will only allow me to back up to an email address. I don’t tie into apples mail app. On the iPhone and iPad, your app won’t let me back up unless I give Apple access to my email address. I should have a choice of where and how to backup. The second problem is your cloud. It’s not using blind encryption. I avoid apps where the provider keeps a copy of the key or has a means if surrounding the information under court order. My right to privacy is a principle I hold dear. ### 2/5 — One major flaw *2020-06-01, version 2.7.3* I have used this app for quite some time on my Android phone and sync thru Companion Link with Outlook. It works great so I decided to try it on my IPad. The month calendar shares the screen with something called “Agenda” and it makes the calendar much smaller than I prefer. No way I can find to just see the month calendar view without the “Agenda”. Major flaw as far as I’m concerned. Why would anyone need an Agenda on the same screen when they have a day view and week view they can use. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bug introduced on last update! *2025-03-31* Need this fixed! In month view, the month for which you are viewing the dates is no longer highlighted in the top section. Very confusing and disorienting to not know which month you are selecting the date for! ### 1/5 — Problem riddled app *2020-09-07, version 2.8.0* DejaOffice seems to have gotten worse over the years. Failing to sync with IOS Calender and Contacts has always been an issue. Customer Support’s solution of wiping and reinstalling only works for a while, then it fails again. Extremely frustrating. Recently when I search for a contact or event entry in Calendar, I can’t see the Notes section I have dark mode enabled and everything is just black and doesn’t show up. When I open the entry from Contacts I can view the Note, but when it’s opened from Search, the color is just black. Also, when I scroll down to the bottom of my Notes section in a particular contact, it bounces back to the top. I can’t even copy it!! CompanionLink just made this worse and worse. I doubt I’ll be renewing my subscription. ### 1/5 — NOT Ready for prime time *2020-06-24, version 2.7.4* It just doesn’t work as one would expect a simple app like this to work. And DejaCloud? A complete waste of time, money and effort. Take your work seriously? Get office 365 or google and spend your time being productive ### 1/5 — IP address *2020-02-13, version 2.6.2* Earlier versions were better in that I COULD ACTUALLY EASILY CHECK AND CHANGE THE IP ADDRESS SO I COULD SYNC. Now I have to systematically search through ALL of the settings to figure out where it’s hidden. Yes, I KNOW it couldn’t communicate with the PC. It’s native sync to apple contacts constantly shuts itself off without telling you. I also routinely have to wipe all the tasks from my device to get the sync with my computer to actually reflect on my phone changes made on my laptop. I can only assume that haven’t done any serious testing in over a year as the last 2 are not new issues and the first issue is very similar to one about a year ago that had supposedly been fixed. ### 1/5 — Unstable app *2019-06-10, version 2.4.7* Won’t sync with native calendar without duplicates or not at all. Wipe native calendar setting doesn’t work. Constant event alarms even when turned off and event expired hours ago. Uninstall didn’t help. Used for years on Blackberry but iOS version is junk. Update: CompanionLink support said to stop syncing with the native calendar. So, I guess that means no solution. It syncs perfectly with their CompanionLink desktop application for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Memos and more. I cannot live daily life without my Calendar; and I store all kinds of useful information in the database entries in Contacts. You can apply categories with colored labels for easy sorting. I originally ported all my Palm data over—and it was seamless! Any support issues are responded to promptly, thoroughly, and respectfully. Tech support understands their product, and doesn’t talk to you like you’re stupid. I highly recommend this software on your phone and on your computer, whichever platform you are on. I use an iPhone, but my computer is Windows (because I want more control than a Mac will allow its users!). Par exemple, les contacts (synchronisés avec ceux de l’iPhone) permettent de prendre des rendez-vous (eux aussi synchronisés avec l’agenda de l’iPhone), et chacun de ces rendez-vous est enregistré au niveau des contacts (l’idéal serait la même chose au niveau de l’e-mail et des contacts téléphoniques). L’ensemble des fonctions nécessaires à une organisation du temps au niveau personnel sont rassemblées ici dans un seul environnement, tel qu’on le retrouve dans les Personal Information Managers sur PC.
