The radio doesn’t work. The lights doesn’t dim properly, the sound is not that loud. This whole thing needs a work… buy a different brand, you will be better off

First, I want to say that this alarm clock when working properly is a great idea! I sincerely appreciate the soft arousal from sleep! I have had this alarm clock three years now…

My issue is… my clock does not always do as the app is set up to do. Case in point, my Monday, Tuesday 4:30a alarm has not went off in weeks. My W-F 5:50a alarm does not do the soft arousal, when it does go off.

Hopefully you can fix the app/device synchronization. Again, for me this alarm is great when it works as advertised!

this app is so slow and will mess up the lamp due to how laggy the app is. actions take forever to perform and it’s so frustrating to use

The app doesn’t sync with the clock often. I’ve tried turning off an alarm several times, force closing the app, and everything. If it worked, it’d be nice. But I’m forced to wake up early because the app keeps resetting despite me continuously trying to turn it off.

Very slow to load connection to devices on start up. Also when setting alarms, name changes don’t save (freezes) and it takes a while for the alarms to show up in interface—also freezes sliding animation when you try to edit the timezone/display type for clock. It would be nice to preview sounds when creating alarms in app.

I didn’t have any of these issues (except for the slow start up) when I first set up my device after purchase, but after moving to a new house and reactivating everything this occurs.

I have no issues with connecting my clock to my phone. However my time changes on its own constantly. Usually at least once a week I’m having to go into the app the change the time back to the correct time. The clock randomly advances the time a little at a time. Sometimes it’s 10+ minutes off where it should be. There’s no reason why it should either. I rarely open the app besides correcting time so it’s nothing I’m doing.

The sunrise alarm was a huge reason for this purchase.  Initially it worked but very quickly glitched out.  I haven’t been able to set or turn on an alarm for months.  Disappointing

At first this app paired with my Dekala clock worked great. But after about a month of using, now when I open the app, the time is way off (ex: right now it is 11pm, but it says its 6am). Sometimes it corrects itself after a minute, others it does not. I cannot manually change the time because it’s connected on “network time” through my phone, and even when it refreshes the time doesn’t match my phone. It’s already happened 1x now that my alarm didn’t turn on to wake me up for work. This all used to work before, and I’m updated to the latest version.

This will not pair unless you do a complex procedure that involves splitting your net work. Do not buy this device, do not download this app. Then, if you want a refund, you have to go jump through several hoops, in order to do so. Save your time and buy some thing else on Amazon! I have tried to contact them and they will not respond.

Overall, I appreciate the integration of an app connected to the alarm device. Great selection of lights and music pre-downloaded into the alarm. Some areas of improvement: 1. Glitchy! Sometimes can’t turn on or save alarms, or the sounds won’t work, or I can’t turn up the volume. 2. Cannot manually enter a location: it is GPS based, but for whatever reason, it’s set me at a city I’m not even close. I tried to change it but couldn’t . 3. Needs a preview function: it would be great if we could sample lights and sounds BEFORE we save any changes Overall though, somewhat satisfied by this companion app.

Twice now, when my alarm has been set for a certain time Everyday, it goes off the first day but not the second day despite clearly being turned on both on my clock and on the app. So it's made me late to or miss important things I had scheduled. Everything worked fine until recently though.

The app suddenly stopped pairing with my clock and will not reconnect. I’ve tried all the suggestions and nothing works so my alarm clock is useless since I can’t make any significant changes. The app itself has broken buttons/links. I’ve tried reinstalling it and still doesn’t work. Tried contacting the customer support and that doesn’t work as “server cannot be found”. By and use something else. Anything else. If I could give 0 stars I would.

for the app i find with the wake up light i would prefer the sleep timer to have a light only option instead of sound or radio as the only two, apart from that the app is easy to use and has no faults

Won’t let you connect to an alarm clock unless you put your WiFi password into the app. Not connect it to WiFi, but directly give the app your WiFi login. Absolutely ridiculous

I cannot turn off the sunrise alarm in the app for my arches pro alarm clock. Tapping the slider on the screen does not work. I have tried resetting my Wi-Fi, resetting the app, and resetting my phone. Nothing works.

Functionality of app limited in the newer apple os. Cannot change time any more. Still has a lot of trouble with WiFi. Initially setup it works well but then the WiFi connection stays in orange mode claiming it cannot find WiFi. Buggy for iPhones.

Ich benötige ein Gerät bei dem man für verschiedene Uhrzeiten unterschiedliche Farben und Helligkeiten sowie Geräusche einstellen kann und habe mir dafür extra diesen App-gesteuerten Wecker geholt. Leider kann man genau das nicht, man kann mir nur sehr geringer Flexibilität unterschiedliche Szenen bearbeiten, wobei insbesondere keine flexible Farbauswahl möglich ist und die Helligkeit meist viel zu hell bleibt und man kann nicht programmieren, dass zum Beispiel verschiedene dieser Szenen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten abgespielt werden, sondern wenn man eine Szene auswählt, wird in jeder Automation immer diese Szene abgespielt. Insgesamt total unintuitiv von der Steuerung her und viel zu unflexibel und damit ziemlich unbrauchbar.

Once you click on the Google home logo to connect via the Dekala App, it says “Link with Account Password”. You click it and it doesn’t load. Keeps saying “system exception refresh retry”. This is the whole reason I bought this device 🤦🏻‍♀️

Constantly fails to connect to the devices. The app says it connect to google and Alexa but when you try to set it up it just says system exception please try again later. What’s the point of a smart device if it can’t do anything smart.

I had to disconnect my alarm to move. The app still gave me alarm notifications. No big deal. But when I set my clock up in the new place, the app now only shows the alarm notification, I can’t click out of it, can’t do anything else on the app. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem persists. So now the alarm is just bricked I guess until the app updates.
