Une fois que l’on a compris comment ça marche , cette appli est vraiment simple et efficace. Pour nettoyer les photos stockées sur mon iPhone, je procède en 3 étapes: 1/ je mets un cœur sur les meilleurs photos à garder, 2/ je lance une synchro « one drive » pour archiver toutes mes photos (yc les non favorites), 3/ je lance cette appli « deleter » pour retirer les photos non favorites sur mon iPhone. 
Seul bémol: pas beaucoup de fonction de filtre , mais pas bloquant

Handy tool. Very easy to use. Very clean interface, including a clear preview of the photos that will be deleted. Thanks! :)  

I have some suggestions which are probably easy to implement:
1. I have a huge library of unsorted photos and would love to use the tool to clean up the photos of my current journey. Therefore I would love to see an option which shows only photos starting from 3 days ago / 2 days ago / yesterday / today (and maybe even a date range selector). Currently I have to move the matching photos to an according album first and repeat that at the end of each day when I run the cleanup for my photos taken that day.
2. When I open the app, it should still show the album which I used the last time when running the app. Currently the location always is reset to „All photos“, which can lead to accidentally deleting all non-fav photos from the whole photo library.
3. The list of albums should show the three most recently created albums and the three albums most recently used in the app. This improves usability if you have many albums.

Thank you! For some reason I couldn’t delete my 15,000 photos from my iPhone 7. This did the job in half hour, when I’ve spent days trying different ‘solutions’. It deleted them 1,000 at a time, in seconds. It crashed a few times, but immediately worked again. I couldn’t delete them from the ‘recently deleted’ folder but managed to do this by selecting 900 at a time in the photos app. Hooray! Finally! Thanks for a very handy app.

Wer wie wir, sehr viele Fotos schießt und im Anschluss dann tausende der Bilddateien zu verwalten hat, freut sich über diese intelligente Löschfunktion.
Man markiert sich über das iPhone eigene „Fotos“ einfach seine Favoriten. Danach geht man in das Programm und kann dort nun ganz bequem alle NICHT-Favoriten mit einem Klick löschen!

Kurzum: Alles Bilder löschen außer Favoriten!!

This is exactly what I wanted.  I used to delete all my pics from my iPhone after the google photos backup completed, but wanted to keep favourites on my iPhone.  It’s such an obvious function that I’m disappointed Apple doesn’t include in their basic Photos app, like a ‘delete all except favourites’. A quick google led me to this app, which does exactly that

As a google photos user, I always wanted to separate my favourited photos in my camera roll from the rest of the photos in my Google Photos. This app solves that problems. Once I backup all my photos to Google Photos, I use this app to delete all of my photos except for my favorites, which I can then either keep on my phone or easily sort into an album in Google Photos. This app saved me so much time. 5 stars.

I have just had a massive sort out of Photos on my Mac. I then had the headache of selecting the ‘not favorite’ pictures for deletion (trivial in Lightroom, not in Photos). This app did the job nearly perfectly. 

The only wrinkle is that it seems to work in batches of around 1000 photos. It just meant that I needed to repeat the deletion 8 times and it purged all my ‘not favorite’ pictures. Brilliant!

No instructions. Appears you have to add every individual image and it’s not clear if that’s to favourite it to save it, or to add it to a list for deletion. One at a time. I can see no batch selecting or any options at all. Honestly just wasted $2 on a bullshit con. Save your money. This app does sweet FA.

Yeah it is nice to be able to delete all photos except favorited ones.

However...

These days iPhone storage is MASSIVE. I have the basic 64gb and I had 25k+ photos on my phone when I downloaded this app so I could delete in bulk.

First of all, it cannot delete more that 999 photos at once, and even when it does try to delete 999 it freezes and crashes half the time.

Also I would like to suggest the ability to favorite entire albums at once. I had multiple albums from travel that I wanted to save and I have to say my fingers hurt from spending a half hour manually selecting all ~2500 photos.

Anyways, back to continually restarting this paid app to try and get it to work, about halfway through!

I’ve had this app for many, many years. Maybe 7 or 8 years?  Right now, as I write this review, I can it’s the most stable it’s ever been.  No more crashes after each massive delete. Which is how it’s always been. Even with the crashes, I couldn’t manage my phone without this app. It’s key to having an iPhone with no insane premium cloud storage.

I take a lot of pictures of my family, dog etc. fun in here in the moment , but I only need to keep 5% for posterity. Running iOS 14.7.1 the app can move 1000 photos at a time to the deleted photos folder. Worth the $0.99!

Needed to delete 4000 photos and keep my favourites in tact. This app did exactly that. App seems to delete 999 at a time and then the app closes. Had to open and hit delete 4 times to remove all my photos. Job done in minutes.

Zuerst war ich sehr skeptisch, aber es hat alles perfekt funktioniert! 

Einfach Funktion: löscht einfach alle Bilder, die nicht als Favoriten in der Foto App markiert sind, wobei man in der Deleter-App noch selber Fotos zu- oder abwählen kann. 

Super einfach und ohne Schnickschnack! Made my Day. 

Deswegen 5 Sterne!

This app is soooooooooo worth the 99p 
Worked perfectly and efficiently and deletes in chunks of 999 - tap all your favourites first and then it deletes everything excluding favourites - excellent! Only sad I didn’t discover this several phones ago.
