I have to go through several prompts to clear a notification for ONE thing. I still have red notifications icons over assignments for classes from last semester. If I complete the assignments I've obviously been notified. Why is the alert still there? Especially if I log in from different device. If I open canvas on my cell phone app today and complete an assignment. I shouldn't have a notification for that assignment when I login from my computer. It's ALREADY COMPLETE. I've changed the settings so my phone won't alert me, but the red numbers above assignments is still there when I open the app. Making me think there's something I haven't done. I don't need to hear/read about every single thing that goes on at Delgado either. The news should be an option not something I HAVE to see on my dashboard daily. I just dislike canvas. It doesn't function as a 2020 portal. I'd prefer to open an app. Read what I need and move on. Not with Canvas. You have to scroll through several Delgado ads to get to your course.
