Unfortunately, the storyline was not as charming as it used to be in my opinion, the storyline bored me. I never liked Angela's game so when shes in the story its already a negative for me and the little love trope with Emily's kid along with all the useless slang was not cute. ### 2/5 — Ads *2025-09-03, version 1.2* I’m not one to mind watching ads here and there especially for free games, I do it often actually. You have to watch an ad for EVERY single level you play. Also an ad when you finish the level. Too many ads. I’m having fun playing this one but my only complaint is that from “happy Funtime land” forward (maybe before even, I can’t remember), the restocking takes FOREVER, even after upgrading. I don’t think upgrading changes the restock speed at all. It’s like some of the game is cut out, can’t see the cooler or customers when seated at the table. Was excited to see this one, but they’ve changed the format. After level 5, to keep playing, you have to watch an ad to play. So I’m deleting it. I play many games where I choose to watch ads, to get a reward, or progress in a level, but that’s my choice. This forcing us to watch in order to play is greedy and ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Too many ads *2025-06-26, version 1.2* It’s a great game but for every level you have to watch a 25 second ad. This isn’t OG Emily, this is 100% Primrose Lake. Sad, cold, gloomy. So disappointing. Stopped playing after the second ep because the emotionless, robot like characters turned me off… I‘m a serious gamer that would typically rip through the whole game in a day or two, lol. The case with previous Emily games. So, for me to stop playing so early on says something. This one is not a patch on the old ones. The figures move like automatons, the game is not as exciting, the storyline is terrible. I have to watch an app now every time I want to start another level, which is very annoying. It is so bad that I’m actually going to delete it! I suspect the positive reviews are from those people that have never played the old Delicious games. If they did, they would see that this new game pales in comparison. There is a very annoying lag when giving products to customers. Also the points for things such as bonus for multiple deliveries is hard to see. The room is also too small and crowded, ppl seem to big. Probably my least fav of the series. Also, you have to have so many coins just to speed up Emily’s pace; too many levels are slow and annoying bc of this. Delicious, Primrose Lake, and Angela, are the reason I keep my Gamehouse Games subscription. I love them so much and play them all over and over!
