It’s cute, fast-paced, ridiculously addictive, and apparently I am now emotionally invested in Emily getting food to Table 6 before some impatient cartoon woman loses her mind. BUT. Every so often you hit a level where the game basically says: “Oh, you’d like to win this one? That’ll be $4.99.” I’ll replay a level 47 times. I’ll upgrade the kitchen. I’ll move like Gordon Ramsay possessed by the spirit of a hummingbird. I’ll serve every customer with superhuman efficiency. Still lose by one goddamn customer. Then Delicious World sidles up like a tiny digital loan shark: Need three more customers? We can help with that… 💰 So yes, I love Delicious World. I play it constantly. I highly recommend it. But sometimes it feels less like a cooking game and more like I’ve wandered into a very adorable casino where the slot machines serve pancakes. ### 2/5 — Fun but… *2026-08-10, version 1.94.3* There are too many levels that are literally impossible to beat. Even if you play them perfectly. Which means you have to use resources…and eventually buy resources. Not an issue if it’s occasionally…but it’s all the time. Having played since its launch only to be left to a honestly boring ending was very disappointing. I would like to believe that one day, delicious world will get the proper ending it deserves (#patrick and Emily endgame) but I’m not sure if there was ever going to be a good ending in the first place. Leva muito tempo pra conseguir as moedas pra comprar as melhorias e o jogo não avança, tem que ficar jogando fase repetida o tempo todo pra ganhar quase nada de moeda é muito cansativo. E mesmo assistindo anuncio pra ganhar em dobro não é o suficiente. Coins from season 1 do not carry over. Season 2 seems aimed at forcing players to spend money or watch a ton of ads in order to be able to complete levels. ### 3/5 — Fun game for the most part *2026-04-13, version 1.93.0* I love this game! I have been playing it for years. However, it does feel like it gets increasingly more impossible to play without spending frequent gems which is less fun for me. I don’t mind occasionally using a booster but when I have taken the time to purchase every upgrade for a level and I am faced with a level where it is nonstop guests coming in and there is no way to pass that by even using a booster, it feels like I am being forced to spend gems to have more customers… that is not fun in my opinion. I have fun playing it for the most part but I do not appreciate levels that feel nearly impossible to win without spending gems. ### 3/5 — Fun game *2026-04-12, version 1.93.0* Seems like a lot more advertising. But it’s becoming pretty intolerable to play recently. Every time I play an ad it turns off the game sound and I have to restart the game to get the game sound back on. Please fix! ### 2/5 — It was fun until season 2 *2026-03-17, version 1.93.0* The fact that the coins you earn from season 1 disappear in season 2 killed the fun of the game for me. It is impossible to pass levels without buying diamonds. At the beginning of the first world the upgrades were able to be purchased from money earned in the level, in season 2, it’s practically impossible. Then you can’t pass the levels without the upgrades. It really sucks especially with how much you earn by the end of season 1. And the cost of the upgrades are the same or higher as the are at the end of season 1 but now you start out broke. Left the game once two guys agreed to both date her at the same time. Yeah, I’m a prude I suppose, but this version of Emily will probably wind up with a disease or something ### 4/5 — Love the game - but unskipable ads now! *2026-01-29, version 1.93.0* I played through quite a bit of this game a few years ago and redownloaded it again recently and restarted my account. I love this game! Gives me a dinner dash feel, but focusing on the cooking aspect. The story is the thing that keeps me coming back! The little cutscenes are fun and the animation is well done imo, especially for a mobile game. I do feel like each restaurant has too many levels you are required to do to progress the story. I appreciate that there are different goals but it just isn’t varied enough and it’s a grind to get through some of it. It doesn’t take too long for me to upgrade everything and I don’t really struggle with any levels so maybe that’s why it feels extra repetitive. I also was disappointed when I realized they are now forcing you to watch ads unless you become a subscriber. I’m really bummed they would change it from optional ads for double coins to now forcing to watch ads. Instant delete. Could have done something else with the relationship she already established with him instead of making it look like they either divorced or she’s cheating on him. It isn’t clear that this is before Patrick and Paige. The gameplay is fast-paced and doesn’t hold the same value as the other games. The story isn’t as compelling, either. You can do better. But there's one tiny thing I've never seen anyone mention: during the loading screen, the illustration of Emily has a small mistake - her legs don't look positioned correctly and it always catches my eye :)) It's such a small detail, but I can't unsee it! Also, I really miss the old short event games this game used to have for Halloween, Valentine's Day, and other special occasions. They were so fun, creative, and added something special to the experience. I really hope they bring those back someday because they were genuinely amazing. Other than that, this game is fantastic. The quality is great, the story is interesting, the atmosphere is beautiful, and there are so many little details that make it enjoyable. You can really feel the effort that went into creating the world and characters.
