Disappointing…I’ll let my subscription run out. ### 1/5 — Search is useless *2023-02-02, version 1.1.2* Search for something as simple as “Soup” and you get exactly one result - Butter Nut Squash. Cannot find what I see on FB? Should allow me to connect from that recipe right to it in my app. App allows you to see the recipes of the day for a category??? No category for Chicken or Beef, or Pizza etc??? Search does NOT search the whole database?? Like seriously what food app doesn’t have a recipe for meatloaf not that I am the one in need of how to make meatloaf but I wanted to share a easy recipe with my son. Just use the website. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App Is Not User Friendly *2025-02-05* I recently bought a yearly subscription to Delish! after loving their Tuscan Butter Salmon recipe. I was eager to download their App hoping that it would be just as user friendly and engaging at their website. Unfortunately, that was not the case. This App feels as though it was developed in the early 2000’s. It’s very outdated, not user friendly, and does not even have recipe search capabilities. I would encourage Delish! to update their app as soon as possible. They should look at the TASTY App as a model to follow. If they were able to create an App similar to that of TASTY with the Delish! recipes I am sure users would flock to it! ### 1/5 — Awful *2024-02-26* For having to pay to be a user this app needs to work with as a cersion compatible to the desktop and my account. However before you can even spend a minute scrolling thru endless YouTube videos you are asked to rate the app-which is common for apps to do unfortunately-but no matter what answer you tap,other than yes please take me to the review site before I do anything else,the app freezes. Even exiting the app and returning to it an hour later still shows a blank white screen. Only uninstalling/reinstall works to bring back the homepage but then you are once again faced with the review us or else face the screen of death dilemma. It’s just not worth it to scroll YouTube secondhand. SideChef has recipes, shopping lists, links to your store, and step by step video instructions. For free. ### 1/5 — Premium Membership Fail *2023-05-17* I just signed up for the premium membership so I can get access to the Instacart integration with recipes. Terrible user interface, nearly unusable. Hard to believe this App is associated with Delish. I have made manny dishes that have turned out great! The 3 dots in the menu bar only takes me to the app store to download the app I’m using. Nuts. ### 2/5 — Good website, terrible app *2018-11-18* I remain faithful to the Delish recipes. They are great for something quick and delicious for those work nights or days that you just really don’t feel like doing too much but you also don’t want to order out. The problem I have is that the app itself is clunky and not very user friendly. You can find a lot more on the Delish website and this app does it no justice. I would go ahead and skip the app and continue getting everything from Facebook or directly from the Delish website. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2018-07-22* I downloaded this app hoping that I can save the videos I see on Facebook. I tried to use the search to find the recipe and the search does not work. I clicked on favorites to see if I could add a recipe and there’s nowhere to make the search within the favorites. Looking for your recipe with in the categories it’s a total waste of time.
