Please check and update asap ### 2/5 — Déconnexion et notification *2026-07-18* Deux améliorations seraient vraiment utiles pour l’application Rider : Lorsqu’une vérification d’identité nous déconnecte, il faudrait recevoir une notification pour nous prévenir. Si nous ne sommes pas sur l’application à ce moment-là, nous pensons être toujours en ligne alors que ce n’est plus le cas, et nous ne recevons donc aucune course jusqu’à ce que nous ouvrions l’application et nous en rendions compte. Il faudrait également améliorer le son des notifications de nouvelles courses. Il est actuellement trop faible et ressemble trop aux notifications classiques du téléphone. Un son plus fort et vraiment distinctif permettrait de reconnaître immédiatement une proposition de course et d’éviter de la manquer. The forced translation feature is another unnecessary step that wastes time. Don’t get me wrong, Deliveroo is not easy money. It’s actually ‘hard money’. However it’s good. It follows free market principals, it’s very popular, very efficient and I like the way I can use the knowledge of supply and demand to increase my earnings. Don’t expect it to be easy or simple. Deliveroo are a strict partner to work with who are very very serious about getting the job done. However if you respect them, for the most part you can make a good living off it. However don’t expect to be quite as rigid as typical employers, since you don’t have the same protections as paye workers have.
